Supports personnel, information, physical, and technical security activities at a secure Navy facility. Responsibilities include preparing and tracking security documentation, assisting the CPSO, applying security directives, safeguarding classified materials, verifying visitor clearances and access, and supporting occasional after-hours security needs.

Design, implement, secure, and sustain enterprise and tactical networks for Navy LVC training. Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and monitoring systems. Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), storage, backup/recovery, and simulation software for Navy LVC training. Implement RMF/STIG controls, perform patching, vulnerability remediation, and provide operational support during large-scale training events and exercises. Coordinate restoration with engineers and operators; support classified and unclassified environments.

Lead systems engineering activities for NAVAIR’s Direct and Time Sensitive Strike Weapons Program Office, including requirements development, architecture, systems integration, technical reviews, risk management, configuration management, capability roadmapping, and aircraft or system-of-systems integration. Coordinate with DoD stakeholders, test organizations, fleet users, contractors, and industry partners to support complex weapons programs and emerging strike capabilities. The role is on-site at NAWS China Lake and may require travel to NAS Patuxent River, Maryland.

Provides systems engineering support for NAVAIR’s strike weapons program, leading requirements development, systems integration, technical reviews, architecture, risk management, configuration management, capability roadmapping, and lifecycle engineering. Coordinates with DoD, NAVAIR, testing, intelligence, fleet, industry, and joint-service stakeholders to integrate complex aircraft and weapon systems and deliver traceable warfighter capabilities.

Administer Windows and Linux servers, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), enterprise storage, backup/recovery, and simulation software for Navy LVC training. Maintain RMF/STIG compliance, perform vulnerability remediation, support distributed training events, and provide operational support during major fleet exercises.

Design, implement, secure, and sustain enterprise and tactical network infrastructure for Navy LVC training systems. Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network management systems in classified and unclassified environments. Ensure availability, monitor traffic, remediate vulnerabilities, support RMF compliance, and provide technical leadership during large-scale fleet and coalition training exercises. Up to 25% travel.

Serve as the Information System Security Officer for a high-visibility DoD program. Implement and enforce RMF-based security controls, perform vulnerability assessments (ACAS, STIGs, SCAP), continuous monitoring, risk analyses, and support ATO documentation (SSPs, POA&Ms). Use SolarWinds or Splunk for monitoring and collaborate across teams to ensure compliance with DISA, NIST, CNSSI, JSIG, and SAP/ICD policies.

On-site Contract Program Security Officer responsible for developing and maintaining facility SOPs and OPSEC, administering security inspections and TS accountability, managing access/clearance processes (DISS, Scattered Castles), handling SCI/TS visits and indoctrinations, performing document control (JADE, SIMS), and coordinating with customer security representatives.

Manage program security for classified DoD/IC programs at NAS Fallon: oversee personnel, physical, industrial, and information security; maintain documentation and records; manage access/clearances (PARs, SCI); administer Top Secret accountability; perform inspections/audits, trainings, and document control (JADE, SIMS); coordinate with government security representatives to ensure compliance.

Lead cybersecurity for mission-critical DoD systems: develop and enforce policies, manage vulnerability assessments (ACAS, STIGs, SCAP), implement RMF and continuous monitoring, evaluate NIAP/Common Criteria and DISA APL compliance, prepare authorization documentation and MOAs, advise leadership, and mentor junior staff.

Serve as an ISSO for a DoD program: implement and enforce information system security policies, perform vulnerability assessments (ACAS, STIGs, SCAP), implement OS/network STIG configurations, conduct continuous monitoring, risk assessments, and support ATO documentation (SSP, POA&Ms, SOPs). Collaborate on mitigation strategies and prepare certification artifacts for DoD systems, including satellite communications infrastructure.

Serve as the ISSO for a DoD program enforcing security policies and STIG-based configurations, conducting vulnerability assessments (ACAS, SCAP), continuous monitoring (SolarWinds/Splunk), risk analysis, ATO documentation (SSP, POA&Ms), and coordinating mitigation, certification letters, and cross-functional cybersecurity efforts for mission-critical and satellite communication systems.

Manage and maintain program security at NAS Patuxent, including SOPs, OPSEC, access control, PARs, SCI handling, document control, audits, training, and compliance with government security requirements and systems.

As a Simulation Systems Engineer, you will support naval aviation training using simulation environments and troubleshoot technical issues for training systems, while also working at sea for deployments.

Provide systems-engineering support to the F/A-18 IPTL: evaluate and recommend computing hardware, lead technical reviews, support software installations, verification/acceptance testing, configuration management, and RMF-related cybersecurity activities while documenting risks and technical recommendations for program leadership.

Secure, sustain, and optimize DoD training systems by performing system upgrades, integrating applications, and enforcing DISA STIG configurations. Support RMF/ATO activities and vulnerability scanning (ACAS), manage vCenter/VMware, Windows servers, Active Directory, DNS, and log aggregation. Troubleshoot software issues, implement technical controls, and ensure compliance with DoD RMF, FISMA, NIST 800-53, and DoD SRG requirements.
