Leads Ascot UK’s Internal Controls function and owns the ICFR program, including control framework enhancement, annual testing, risk-control matrices, SOX and COSO compliance, remediation, and external audit coordination. Provides technical accounting leadership across UK and US GAAP, manages statutory and consolidation activities, advises Finance through the Technical Accounting Group, leads special projects, and manages the Internal Controls team and Technical Accountant.

Investigate, evaluate, manage, and resolve complex Florida workers’ compensation claims from opening through settlement. Responsibilities include determining compensability, contacting involved parties, reviewing medical bills, maintaining claim documentation, setting reserves, processing payments, negotiating settlements, and recommending actions to claims management. The role requires strong communication, organization, analytical judgment, decision-making, and collaboration with policyholders, injured workers, medical providers, brokers, attorneys, and internal teams.

Leads technical pricing for treaty reinsurance across casualty, professional, and specialty lines. Evaluates proportional and non-proportional treaties, develops actuarial pricing models, incorporates catastrophe and loss-cost analysis, advises underwriting leadership and brokers, monitors portfolio profitability and rate adequacy, supports reserving and capital planning, ensures compliance with actuarial standards, and mentors junior actuaries.
