Perform US GAAP accounting and reporting, including share-based compensation, reconciliations, journal entries, consolidations, intercompany accounting, financial disclosures, and audit support. Maintain internal financial controls, investigate accounting issues, support month-end and quarterly close processes, and improve Finance workflows through automation and emerging technologies. The role also handles debt, equity, foreign exchange, tax, and ad hoc financial analysis.

Manage and resolve primary and excess Financial Institutions claims, including investigations, coverage analysis, litigation, reserves, negotiations, and counsel management. Prepare exposure and loss reports, advise underwriting, draft coverage correspondence, maintain claims files, monitor legal and marketplace developments, and support strategic initiatives. The role requires collaboration with brokers, insureds, attorneys, and internal partners, along with maintaining adjuster licenses and traveling to mediations, conferences, trials, and depositions.

Supports the Enterprise Risk Management and Actuarial Functions across Ascot Group entities. Responsibilities include maintaining risk registers and governance frameworks, reviewing controls, preparing quarterly risk reports and annual ORSA documentation, monitoring emerging risks, developing risk appetite metrics, supporting scenario analysis, and assisting with regulatory, compliance, committee, audit, and Lloyd’s attestation activities.
