Leads technical pricing for treaty reinsurance across casualty, professional, and specialty lines. Evaluates proportional and non-proportional treaties, develops actuarial pricing models, incorporates catastrophe and loss-cost analysis, advises underwriting leadership and brokers, monitors portfolio profitability and rate adequacy, supports reserving and capital planning, ensures compliance with actuarial standards, and mentors junior actuaries.

Leads and scales Ascot’s global investment operations infrastructure, including portfolio workflows, reporting, analytics, data management, technology platforms, governance, controls, and process improvement. Partners with investment, finance, treasury, risk, technology, and accounting teams to improve operational accuracy and efficiency. Builds the investment operations function, establishes its operating model, leads platform testing and documentation, and hires and develops the team.

Supports Ascot’s alternative investment activities across private markets, hedge funds, and other partnership-driven strategies. Responsibilities include market research, manager and fund diligence, investment analysis, portfolio-fit assessment, commitment pacing, monitoring, reporting, and recommendations to investment leadership. The role also builds analytical tools, evaluates risks and terms, tracks portfolio developments, supports asset allocation, and improves investment workflows using data, automation, and AI-enabled tools.
