Leads the organization’s accounting and financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audits, compliance, internal controls, cash management, and risk assessment. Manages the accounting team, improves financial processes and systems, partners with executives on financial strategy, and supports mergers and acquisitions through due diligence and analysis.

Provides preoperative and post-anesthesia care for ophthalmic surgery patients. Responsibilities include assessing and preparing patients, verifying consents, recording vital signs, initiating IVs, monitoring recovery, documenting findings, addressing patient concerns, reporting condition changes to physicians, and responding to postoperative emergencies. Requires an active Florida RN or LPN license, acute care nursing proficiency, at least one year of ambulatory surgery or operating room experience, and BLS certification.

Serve as the subject matter expert for Nextech EHR and practice management platforms. Configure applications, optimize clinical and revenue cycle workflows, support integrations, and lead implementations, conversions, testing, data validation, go-live activities, and post-go-live optimization. Provide escalation support, manage access controls, coordinate vendors and IT teams, develop documentation and training, and ensure workflows meet HIPAA, compliance, payer, and operational requirements across multiple locations.

Manages and optimizes revenue cycle management systems, including NexTech, MedEvolve, and White Plume. Oversees configuration, fee schedules, master data, workflows, user access, reporting, testing, integrations, training, and system transitions. Partners with RCM, Finance, Coding, Compliance, IT, and vendors to improve data quality, automation, workflow efficiency, reporting reliability, security, and financial performance.

Manage daily operations of a four-OR ambulatory surgery center, overseeing clinical staff, regulatory accreditation, quality improvement, patient safety, infection prevention, physician relations, scheduling, supplies, equipment, budgeting, and operational planning. Provide direct clinical support as needed while ensuring compliance with AAAHC, AHCA, and CMS requirements.

Lead accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting for assigned business units. Manage and develop an accounting team, ensure IFRS-compliant controls, support audits, drive process automation and improvements, oversee payroll/tax filings, budgeting/forecasting, and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.

Support finance and accounts payable with invoice entry, vendor payments, bank activity, and general ledger reconciliations. Prepare journal entries, analyze variances, assist with budgets and audits, produce financial reports, and partner with departments to improve processes and reduce costs while ensuring GAAP and data accuracy.

Provide retina subspecialty ophthalmic care within a multi-physician practice. Diagnose and manage retinal diseases, coordinate surgical and medical treatment, collaborate with clinic and ASC staff, and deliver patient-centered care while participating in practice governance and quality initiatives.

Join a multi-location ophthalmology practice as a subspecialist (Glaucoma, Oculoplastic, Retina, Pediatric). Provide clinical care and surgical services across clinics and an ASC, manage an established patient panel, participate in practice governance, and maintain required medical credentials. Provide comprehensive cataract and ocular care: diagnose conditions, develop personalized treatment plans, perform advanced cataract surgeries (phacoemulsification, IOL implantation), educate patients on care and recovery, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and stay current with surgical and ophthalmology advances.

Document patient encounters in real time for ophthalmology providers, enter and update EMR records, perform preliminary ophthalmic exams and sub-specialty tests, assist with minor procedures and imaging, manage exam room inventory, process refills, and support patient communication and clinic workflow.

Provide comprehensive medical and surgical eye care including exams, diagnosis, management of cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and perform ophthalmic surgeries. Collaborate with optometrists and staff, deliver postoperative care, maintain records, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in continuing education to support practice growth and high-quality, patient-centered care.
