Provides administrative and project-management support to the Program Director by coordinating stakeholders, tracking schedule, cost, scope, risks, deadlines, and program initiatives. Organizes meetings, maintains spreadsheets and tracking tools, records actions, supports program reviews, and assists with technical and operational coordination across departments. The role is primarily office-based with occasional manufacturing-floor exposure.

Manages manufacturing engineering across product development, manufacturability, production methods, tooling, equipment, rework, and process improvement. Leads manufacturing engineers, make-or-buy decisions, capital equipment planning, lean initiatives, budgets, and plant productivity programs. Collaborates with engineering, quality, operations, customers, vendors, and offshore manufacturing facilities. Requires expertise in manufacturing processes, composite fabrication, engineering drawings, and technical project leadership.

Plans and controls production hardware flow using MPS and MRP schedules to meet customer demand and internal requirements. Coordinates shop orders, procurement priorities, material availability, capacity constraints, shipment dates, engineering drawing revisions, and production data accuracy. Responds to customer inquiries, monitors shelf-life materials, validates shop order packets, and supports manufacturing quality, delivery, lean, and cost-reduction objectives.

Programs, sets up, and operates multiple coordinate measuring systems and precision inspection tools for aerospace parts, tooling, and fixtures. Interprets engineering drawings, performs complex dimensional inspections, analyzes tolerances, records and maintains inspection data, and coordinates with engineering, tool control, customers, and external inspection facilities. Supports R&D and new product development, recommends software improvements, trains employees, and performs root-cause and corrective-action activities.

Leads quality assurance for aerospace manufacturing programs, overseeing suppliers, audits, corrective actions, inspections, process controls, customer requirements, and continuous improvement. Manages supplier performance metrics, conducts internal and customer audits, supports material review activities, and resolves manufacturing quality issues. Requires extensive manufacturing and aerospace quality engineering experience, CQE certification or eligibility, Lean expertise, and proficiency with quality tools, engineering drawings, inspection equipment, and Microsoft applications.

Supports aerospace manufacturing by developing, improving, and coordinating production processes, tooling, equipment, and special projects. Reviews engineering drawings, manages process and design changes, supports production operations, conducts failure and cost analyses, coordinates vendors, and participates in Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 6S and Kaizen. Requires strong knowledge of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, project management, and capital expenditure planning.

Coordinates technical programs between U.S. and China operations, managing engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, qualification testing, proposals, customer requirements, schedules, budgets, and risks. Supports product upgrades, production transfers, localization, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and customer liaison activities. Requires bilingual English and Mandarin communication, aerospace engineering knowledge, and willingness to travel internationally for extended periods.

Fabricate composite and non-metal components using blueprints, production instructions, hand lay-up, vacuum bagging, cutting, drilling, curing, trimming, and assembly techniques. Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools, develop layup patterns, perform repairs and tool setups, track materials and traceability, maintain inventory records, and support productivity and quality improvements. Work safely in a manufacturing environment while meeting tight tolerances and maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.

Program, set up, and operate CMMs and portable inspection arms to inspect production parts and tooling per engineering drawings. Create and maintain inspection data/reports, perform complex measurement setups, analyze first-part dimensional results, coordinate with manufacturing and tool control, and support R&D and NPD activities.
