Senior Engineer responsible for hydraulic modeling and technical evaluation of natural gas transmission pipeline systems using steady-state and transient flow analysis. Supports model configuration, performance validation, capacity optimization, acquisition and expansion scenarios, front-end project analysis, and Management of Change processes. Collaborates with commercial, engineering, GIS/CAD, records, and operations teams while communicating technical findings, improving procedures, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Supports midstream finance and business development leadership with portfolio planning, transaction evaluation, valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, board and partner presentations, capital markets initiatives, and budget and forecast analysis. The role also coordinates with external advisors and provides ad hoc strategic analysis across ARM Energy’s midstream and broader corporate businesses.

Originate, structure, negotiate, and execute power, capacity, ancillary service, renewable PPA, tolling, and offtake transactions across North American markets. Develop customer relationships, manage contracts, value transactions with modeling teams, monitor market and regulatory developments, and grow the ERCOT, CAISO, and PJM customer base. The role also requires industry networking, executive and client presentations, and execution of the company’s power origination strategy.

Analyze regional power and natural gas markets to support trading, marketing, forecasting, and origination decisions. Manage market models, conduct predictive analysis, identify arbitrage opportunities, prepare client and stakeholder updates, lead market outlook discussions, and track regulatory and infrastructure developments. The role requires strong quantitative modeling, energy-market expertise, coding, and communication skills.

Coordinates physical natural gas deliveries by managing pipeline nominations, EBB scheduling systems, imbalances, and pipeline capacity. Monitors supply and demand trends, identifies potential disruptions, confirms contract details, and enters volumes into the ETRM system. Supports invoice accuracy by reconciling pipeline and customer volume discrepancies with the settlements team. The role also requires logistics optimization, problem-solving, communication, and proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.

Leads 24/7 control room and measurement operations for an intrastate gas pipeline system. Oversees safe pipeline and compressor station operations, SCADA visibility, alarm and fatigue management, regulatory compliance, measurement accuracy, training, emergency response, operating plans, audits, and staff development. Coordinates with field operations, engineering, regulators, customers, and interconnecting pipelines while ensuring scheduled volumes, tariff requirements, and data integrity are maintained.

Originate and execute complex natural gas transactions across Midwest and East markets, including term supply and sales, transportation, storage, structured deals, and asset management agreements. Build customer and market relationships, develop an opportunity pipeline, monitor regional market developments, negotiate agreements, and communicate market intelligence to internal teams. Collaborate with contracts, risk, legal, credit, and external counterparties to expand the company’s physical gas market presence.

Leads contract management for large-scale energy infrastructure capital projects, including contract strategy, negotiation, compliance, performance monitoring, risk mitigation, procurement support, stakeholder management, audits, reporting, and cost optimization. Collaborates with legal, finance, engineering, and project management teams to ensure contractual obligations, project schedules, budgets, and regulatory requirements are met.
