The role requires collaboration with physicians and clinical staff, after-hours coverage as needed, and adherence to medical protocols in an outpatient medical office setting.

Schedules diagnostic appointments, processes referrals, secures and tracks insurance authorizations, manages orders and related documentation, and communicates with patients, clinical staff, scheduling teams, managers, and payors. The role also handles phone inquiries, medical information, filing, fax processing, confidentiality requirements, and timely action on routine and STAT orders in a clinical office setting.
