Leads the Project Management team overseeing signage projects from quoting and permitting through fabrication, installation, billing, and closeout. Develops staff, standardizes processes, manages compliance and financial documentation, resolves escalated client issues, qualifies subcontract installers, and improves departmental performance. The role requires expertise in signage construction, permitting, regulatory compliance, project profitability, AIA billing, certified payroll, bonds, insurance programs, and cross-functional workflow optimization.

Perform advanced custom sign fabrication and assembly (channel letters, monument signs, pylons, wayfinding, illuminated signs). Operate fabrication machinery, perform metal/plastic work and welding, install LED lighting and electrical components, read blueprints, ensure quality control and finishing, maintain equipment, follow safety guidelines, and mentor junior fabricators.

Lead large-scale signage projects from kickoff through installation: manage clients, contractors, schedules, permits, budgets, risks, and documentation. Mentor junior PMs and drive process improvements to deliver high-quality signage solutions on time and on budget.

Fabricate and assemble exterior and interior custom signs including channel letters, monuments, pylons, and illuminated signage. Operate fabrication machinery, perform metal/plastic work, welding, electrical wiring for LEDs, read blueprints, perform quality checks, and maintain safety and equipment. Collaborate with designers and installers and train junior fabricators.

Manage sign-fabrication projects from kickoff through delivery and billing. Coordinate with clients, sales, production, vendors, subcontractors and jurisdictions; create timelines, budgets, permits, and estimates; track quality, safety, and documentation; delegate tasks, research installers, and invoice clients while maintaining strong communication and adherence to schedules and budgets.

Operate large-format printers and vinyl plotters to produce signage, manage print jobs via RIP software, perform finishing and quality inspection, maintain equipment, prepare substrates, and support installations.
