Serve as Arc Institute’s strategic legal advisor, leading legal strategy for collaborations, partnerships, governance, compliance, regulatory, risk, and institutional arrangements. Oversee agreements, negotiations, business development support, legal processes, outside counsel, and a small legal team including IP and licensing. Provide practical counsel to senior scientific and operational leaders while enabling responsible institutional growth.

Lead People Operations and compensation programs, drive AI-native and automated HR workflows, oversee onboarding/offboarding and benefits, manage PEO relationship, deliver compensation benchmarking and cyclical pay events, partner with hiring managers and recruiting, and establish operational excellence and service culture.

Manage purchasing, inventory, and lab spaces for two research labs. Maintain SOPs, support data organization and ELNs, liaison with EH&S and SciOps, onboard members, schedule equipment, and implement process improvements to keep wet-lab and computational work running smoothly.

Perform and support large-scale in vivo functional genomics screens: tissue dissociation, immune cell isolation, single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, library cloning and viral production, NGS operation, data analysis support, and method development for neuro-immune and multi-tissue studies.

Perform molecular biology and mammalian cell culture experiments (cloning, PCR/qPCR, transfections, NGS prep), run microscopy and flow cytometry assays, analyze and present data, maintain detailed lab records, assist lab management and resource ordering, and contribute to project design and troubleshooting with mentorship; intended as a two-year stepping stone toward PhD preparation.

The Research Associate II will conduct molecular experiments, perform screenings for neurodegenerative diseases, and collaborate on projects involving CRISPR technologies.

Serve as a scientific and strategic partner to the Executive Director, synthesizing technical information, owning the directors operating rhythm, driving cross-disciplinary scientific programs from inception to execution, facilitating collaborations, preparing high-quality meeting materials and external communications, and handling confidential organizational and scientific matters with discretion.
