Provides executive administrative support to IHSC leadership by managing calendars, correspondence, taskings, meetings, travel, reports, records, and office procedures. Screens calls and visitors, routes inquiries, prepares and reviews documents, compiles data, tracks assignments, supports project updates, and trains staff on administrative processes. Provides one-on-one and group training, briefings, and customer support on federal programs and services for veterans and service members. Requires collaboration with leadership and project management teams, strong communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and routine onsite work at CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Manage enterprise AI and machine learning programs from planning through deployment and operations. Coordinate data, engineering, cloud, security, and business teams; oversee MLOps pipelines, governance, monitoring, risks, budgets, and dependencies. Drive automation, compliance, incident management, executive reporting, and continuous improvement for secure AI solutions supporting federal healthcare initiatives.

Provide remote expert overreads and interpretations of cardiac diagnostic studies, including EKGs, echocardiograms, and wearable-device reports. Collaborate with healthcare providers, deliver accurate and timely reports, maintain applicable state licensure, and follow remote overreading standards while supporting veterans with cardiac conditions.

Perform CT and specialized radiographic and interventional imaging procedures for veterans. Ensure patient safety, comfort, radiation safety, infection control, and confidentiality; collaborate with clinical teams, maintain imaging equipment, support quality assurance, and document procedures in electronic medical records. Rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Provides comprehensive gastroenterology care to Veterans, including consultations, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, liver transplant evaluations, inpatient consults, and outpatient management. Responsibilities include coordinating interdisciplinary care, educating patients and families, participating in quality and safety initiatives, teaching trainees, and contributing to program development. The physician participates in a shared inpatient GI call rotation and performs advanced procedures as qualified.

Performs routine and complex diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, renal, gynecological, and small-parts imaging. Ensures image quality, accurate labeling, documentation, and PACS transmission; coordinates with radiologists, communicates urgent findings, prioritizes exams, verifies patient identity, explains procedures, and provides emergency or on-call services. Maintains safety compliance and works independently in hospital settings.

Develops and manages communications for the VA’s AI strategy, governance, and operations initiative. Creates briefings, talking points, executive summaries, newsletters, slide decks, meeting materials, and plain-language content. Maintains SharePoint, Teams, and internal communication channels; coordinates meetings and follow-up; responds to communication requests; and supports messaging strategies aligned with AI governance milestones. Collaborates with technical experts, program managers, and senior leaders in a federal environment.

Leads clinical informatics initiatives supporting VHA’s enterprise EHR modernization. Assesses clinical information needs, analyzes and standardizes workflows, develops clinical decision support and standardized content, and delivers Agile features and governance documentation. Facilitates stakeholder consensus, supports content migration and value measurement, manages clinical risks, and mentors informatics staff. Requires extensive clinical informatics or EHR implementation experience, clinical background, healthcare workflow expertise, SAFe experience, and proficiency with Microsoft and healthcare information systems.

Provides comprehensive neurosurgical care in outpatient, inpatient, and operative settings. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, performing spine and cranial procedures, conducting consultations and postoperative rounds, coordinating follow-up care, documenting in the EHR, and participating in quality improvement, morbidity and mortality conferences, and staff meetings.

Lead technical program management for Department of Veterans Affairs AI strategy, governance, and operations initiatives.
