ATNZ seeks hands-on General Engineering Apprentices for a 3–4 year paid apprenticeship in Christchurch. Apprentices receive on-the-job training in welding, fabrication, machining, fitting, hydraulics and pneumatics while studying toward a qualification. Employer covers qualification costs, provides safety gear and tool allowances. Candidates must pass pre-employment checks and be committed to full-time study and work.

Entry-level apprenticeship training to manufacture precision metal components using manual and CNC machines (lathes, mills, machining centres). Work full-time while completing a 3–4 year qualification, learning setup, machining, and material properties under mentor supervision at a Rotorua-based manufacturer.
