Designs and operates platform software integrating AppGate services with Linux systems. Responsibilities include Python development, process and service management, systemd, networking, PostgreSQL automation, observability with OpenTelemetry, secure platform tooling, testing, architecture, production troubleshooting, and technical leadership. The role also involves cross-team initiatives, mentoring, documentation, and improving engineering workflows in a distributed remote environment.

Develop and maintain Appgate SDP client and controller software across C#, React/TypeScript, Electron, and Java REST backend components. Investigate issues across applications, operating systems, and networks; improve automated testing, developer tooling, and build and release workflows; and contribute to technical design, code reviews, and cross-team collaboration.

Build and operate the foundational AI platform: cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, model serving and MLOps, observability, SLOs, and CI/CD. Set technical direction, mentor engineers, automate infrastructure-as-code, and collaborate with data scientists and product teams to ensure reliable, scalable AI systems.

Designs and delivers AppGate ZTNA solutions by leading technical engagements, POCs, demos, and deployments. Collaborates with sales, engineering, product, and post-sale teams to architect integrations, automate workflows, and validate security functionality. Provides technical escalation, customer training, and feedback to prioritize product enhancements while ensuring secure, repeatable, auditable automation and integration into cloud and CI/CD environments.

Define and execute the go-to-market and sales strategy for selling to government agencies, driving growth and product adoption in the SLED sector.

Own and operate the unified data platform and data lake powering fraud detection. Design, build, and run low-latency batch and streaming ingestion pipelines, ensure data quality/lineage/observability, support embedding/vector pipelines for generative AI, and manage deployment and CI/CD on Kubernetes while partnering with data science and product teams.

The Regional Sales Director drives sales execution, manages customer relationships, engages C-suite executives, and develops sales strategies in the cybersecurity market.
