Teams at AppGate

Designs and operates platform software integrating AppGate services with Linux systems. Responsibilities include Python development, process and service management, systemd, networking, PostgreSQL automation, observability with OpenTelemetry, secure platform tooling, testing, architecture, production troubleshooting, and technical leadership. The role also involves cross-team initiatives, mentoring, documentation, and improving engineering workflows in a distributed remote environment.

Develop and maintain Appgate SDP client and controller software across C#, React/TypeScript, Electron, and Java REST backend components. Investigate issues across applications, operating systems, and networks; improve automated testing, developer tooling, and build and release workflows; and contribute to technical design, code reviews, and cross-team collaboration.

Own commercial and federal contracting, including SaaS, software licensing, vendor, channel partner, and government agreements. Draft and negotiate contracts, maintain templates and playbooks, and advise business teams on transactions and compliance. Support the General Counsel with data privacy, employment law, corporate compliance, entity management, intellectual property, and governance matters across U.S. and international jurisdictions.
