Appalachian Community Services

Appalachian Community Services provides mental health, behavioral health, substance-use, and developmental-disability services to individuals, families, and communities in the seven western counties of North Carolina. The organization offers walk-in, psychiatric, substance-abuse, and crisis services for adults and children, complemented by outpatient, community-based, school-based, and home-based programs addressing behavioral-health and developmental needs across the region through a broad continuum of care tailored to local communities.
