Responsibilities include maintaining risk frameworks, assessments, registers, controls, governance, reporting, stress testing, scenario analysis, and capital model validation. The role partners with underwriting, finance, operations, and executives to identify emerging risks, conduct thematic reviews, ensure regulatory alignment, and develop mitigation strategies. It also requires presenting insights to senior stakeholders and strengthening organizational risk culture.

Lead Apollo’s Underwriting In-House Service Team and oversee Lloyd’s and London Market processing from underwriting decisions through premium settlement, reconciliation, claims processing, and market reporting. Advise underwriting teams, govern service models, support operational readiness for new initiatives, ensure compliance with market standards, and drive process improvements and straight-through processing. Partner with underwriting, finance, claims, and reinsurance teams to resolve issues and improve operational outcomes.

Leads Apollo’s group reporting function, overseeing financial close governance, multi-entity consolidation, statutory and US reporting, SOX controls, technical accounting, audit coordination, reconciliations, and reporting quality. Partners with FP&A, Tax, Finance Operations, US Finance, and auditors while driving process improvement, risk escalation, and accurate Board-ready outputs. Develops a high-performing finance reporting team and supports reporting requirements across UK and US GAAP frameworks.
