The role partners closely with recruiters, hiring managers, candidates, and People Operations while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, confidentiality, and strong stakeholder experiences.

Designs and launches production processes, tooling, work cells, safety-critical equipment, and production test systems for next-generation thermal battery products. Partners with design engineering, factory planning, production, and technicians to define build sequences, ensure manufacturability, support gigafactory launch, release work instructions and PFMEAs, maintain stations, troubleshoot issues, and improve safety and production performance.

Lead Antora Energy’s multi-state government affairs and energy policy strategy. Develop relationships with governors’ offices, legislators, regulators, local officials, and coalitions; shape policies involving energy storage, industrial decarbonization, large loads, clean fuels, permitting, siting, incentives, and taxation. Direct external lobbyists and consultants, support project development, coordinate with federal and grid-policy teams, and translate the company’s technology and economics for policymakers. The role is externally focused and requires substantial multi-state engagement.

Supports development of utility-scale energy projects, including site evaluation, permitting, interconnection, acquisitions, budgeting, scheduling, risk tracking, and deployment readiness. Coordinates internal teams, consultants, engineers, legal counsel, renewable developers, and project owners. Evaluates acquisition opportunities, manages development agreements, maintains project pipelines, and prepares leadership updates and decision materials.

Lead cross-functional teams to advance international thermal energy storage and power generation projects from concept to commercial contract and final investment decision. Manage project plans, risk mitigation, land control, stakeholder engagement, and permitting while coordinating engineering, business development, legal, and finance workstreams.

Own the company’s financial model, develop scenario analyses, and provide strategic insights for executive decision-making. Support capital raising by preparing investor materials, coordinating due diligence, managing data rooms, and facilitating transaction closing. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Commercial teams to incorporate business inputs into forecasts and planning. The role requires strong financial modeling, quantitative analysis, communication, and independent problem-solving skills in a fast-moving climate-tech environment.

Leads on-site process and controls engineering at a thermal energy storage plant. Identifies and resolves recurring equipment and performance issues, conducts root cause analyses, coordinates engineering solutions and procurement, supports maintenance and operations teams, improves procedures, and feeds field insights into reliability and product development. Requires strong experience with industrial controls, instrumentation, process engineering, commissioning, plant operations, and formal RCA methods.

Manages day-to-day HR operations, including HRIS, payroll support, benefits, leave, immigration coordination, onboarding, and offboarding. Advises managers on employee relations, performance, organizational change, workforce planning, and team effectiveness. Handles investigations, workers’ compensation, terminations, policy interpretation, and employment-law guidance. Develops and owns optical thin-film deposition processes for thermophotovoltaic devices. Responsibilities include cleanroom process development, equipment qualification, optical and device modeling in Python, thin-film metrology, process control, experimental design, data analysis, troubleshooting, and validating model predictions against device performance. The role drives TPV efficiency improvements, documents processes, trains users, and collaborates cross-functionally to transition R&D processes toward production.

Leads end-to-end multijunction III-V thermophotovoltaic epitaxy development, including experimental campaign design, supplier management, characterization, data analysis, and cost optimization. Owns make-versus-buy decisions for in-house epitaxy, qualifies suppliers, manages InP substrate sourcing, and negotiates commercial terms. The role also supports facility and reactor planning, team development, safety, equipment maintenance, and long-term supply agreements.

Lead state and regional regulatory advocacy on transmission, interconnection, resource adequacy, ELCC, microgrid, and long-duration storage. Represent Antora in RTO, FERC, and PUC proceedings, develop policy proposals, build coalitions, and coordinate with commercial and policy teams to ensure accurate valuation of storage and 24/7 energy products.

Build and maintain full-stack software products across frontend, backend, data, and AI layers. Own product architecture, deployment, observability, reliability, and maintenance; establish unified data models, secure access controls, AI guardrails, and engineering standards. Collaborate directly with non-engineering users to create self-service workflows and translate ambiguous needs into practical solutions. Ship production LLM-powered systems and support governed data transformation, quality, lineage, and testing.

Build and lead Antora Energy’s process safety program for thermal energy storage facilities. Facilitate PHAs, including HAZOP, What-If, and LOPA; manage MOC and PSSR processes; maintain process safety information; support operating procedures, mechanical integrity, incident investigations, training, and emergency response. Partner with engineering, operations, R&D, and leadership during design reviews, track safety metrics, and translate process safety standards into practical guidance.

Lead end-to-end interconnection execution for Antora's thermal storage projects across RTOs/ISOs. Own applications and studies, develop single-line diagrams, run or review load flow/short-circuit/stability/dynamic studies, manage consultants, de-risk early-stage sites, and communicate technical findings to cross-functional teams and leadership.

Lead cross-functional teams to move thermal energy storage projects from ideation to commercial contract execution. Manage project plans, timelines, risk tracking, land control, permitting, stakeholder and community engagement, and negotiation strategy to drive deals to final investment decision.

The role involves designing and prototyping mechanical systems for thermal batteries, leading engineering efforts, and mentoring junior staff.

Design and specify medium-voltage electrical systems and protective relay architectures for thermal energy storage. Perform power system studies (load flow, short-circuit, motor starting, transient stability, arc-flash), create one-line diagrams, prepare equipment datasheets, support procurement, and provide field engineering, construction, commissioning, and code compliance for R&D and commercial facilities.
