Design, build, and operate high-throughput backend services on Claude’s token-generation path. Own latency, reliability, SLOs, incident response, safe deployments, graceful degradation, and cost efficiency. Lead technical direction, design reviews, tradeoffs with inference and research teams, mentoring, and operational improvements across the Safeguards organization.

Design, build, and scale reliable infrastructure supporting AI research workflows. Lead ambiguous, multi-month engineering projects, make architectural decisions, align stakeholders, partner with researchers, and improve system reliability and scalability. Establish technical standards and mentor engineers while operating in a rapidly changing environment.

Leads Anthropic’s accounting policy and technical accounting function. Owns US GAAP policies, advises on novel revenue, infrastructure, financing, equity, M&A, and investment transactions, and develops rigorous technical memoranda. Partners with auditors, SEC stakeholders, Legal, Tax, FP&A, and deal teams; leads standards adoption, public-company-grade reporting, SOX-ready controls, Audit Committee reporting, and team development.

Serve as the primary technical advisor for life sciences institutions adopting Claude. Translate scientific workflows into AI solutions, lead deployments and cohort accelerators, develop demos and scalable documentation, identify ecosystem-level product opportunities, and inform benchmarks, evaluations, MCP servers, and reusable agent skills. Build trusted relationships with academic, biotech, pharma, and mission-driven organizations while helping shape the growing Applied AI team.

Conduct end-to-end qualitative and quantitative UX research for Anthropic’s developer platform. Define research priorities with platform leaders, study developers and enterprise users, communicate findings to product, design, and engineering teams, and influence strategic product decisions. Build AI-enabled research tools and methods, using Claude extensively to accelerate analysis and maintain rigor. Build and govern Anthropic’s quote-to-cash data foundation. Design canonical models from Salesforce, CPQ, and billing data; establish data integrity standards and SLAs; collaborate with systems engineers on schema changes and ingestion; and create data products, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools for GTM and Finance teams. The role also owns data architecture, translates stakeholder needs into technical requirements, and influences roadmaps.

Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce quote-to-cash infrastructure using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and CPQ.
