Design complex automated systems and robotic equipment using advanced mechanical engineering principles and CAD tools. Develop assemblies, production drawings, BOMs, I/O lists, P&IDs, and other technical documentation. Support projects from concept through production implementation while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Apply expertise in machine design, mechanisms, materials, GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, motion control, pneumatics, sensors, and actuators.

Designs and develops mechanical engineering solutions for consumer, medical, clean technology, and automation products. Works hands-on in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with clients and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include troubleshooting components and cables, applying materials expertise, GD&T, metrology, FEA and simulation, supporting overseas vendors, and delivering products from concept through production. The role is on-site five days per week and may involve travel between client locations.

Lead design, programming, testing, and commissioning of PLC/HMI software and integrated automation systems. Integrate robots, motion, vision, sensors, and safety devices; troubleshoot startup and commissioning; produce control documentation; mentor engineers; support proposals and customer technical discussions.
