Build and scale Amtech’s reusable, MCP-native agentic AI platform. Develop LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines, model integrations, governed data access, audit controls, and production AWS deployments. Extend agent capabilities across manufacturing and business workflows, establish evaluations and observability, control inference costs, and partner with product engineers, data scientists, and MLOps teams. Set technical direction, review engineering work, and help standardize agent development across product lines.

Serve as the technical authority for the Label Traxx ERP platform and integrations. Own AWS architecture, PostgreSQL data design, React frontend direction, enterprise API modernization, and migration from legacy 4D systems to cloud-native services. Establish secure engineering, CI/CD, scalability, observability, and AI-assisted development standards. Resolve complex production issues, guide architecture decisions, evaluate infrastructure investments, communicate with executives, and mentor senior engineers across multiple teams.

Build foundational software engineering skills by completing well-scoped tasks in Amtech’s AWS-hosted Cloud API and/or 4D ERP platform. Responsibilities include writing and updating unit and integration tests, debugging routine issues, learning CI/CD and SDLC practices, participating in code reviews and Agile ceremonies, communicating progress, and developing familiarity with ERP business logic across order management, production, inventory, and finance.

Define and lead performance engineering strategy for enterprise-scale cloud-native applications. Establish performance requirements, workload models, testing standards, capacity plans, observability, and release criteria. Design load, stress, resilience, scalability, and endurance tests; analyze application, JVM, database, infrastructure, and cloud bottlenecks; and lead optimization and production incident investigations. Build automated performance frameworks and CI/CD quality gates, validate Kubernetes and cloud capacity, create monitoring dashboards, mentor engineers, and represent performance engineering in architecture and release reviews.

Own the architecture, scalability, governance, and technical direction of Amtech’s cloud data platform, including warehouses, tenant data stores, feature stores, and event pipelines. Lead multi-tenant data architecture, hybrid AI data routing, data security, observability, and reliability standards. Build data foundations for analytics, machine learning, and AI agents, including vector databases and RAG pipelines. Provide technical leadership through design reviews, mentoring, roadmap planning, and cross-functional architecture collaboration.

Leads quality engineering for complex software projects by defining risk-based test strategies, building scalable Playwright automation, validating APIs and databases, integrating CI/CD quality gates, and assessing release readiness. Performs manual, exploratory, integration, performance, resilience, and distributed-system testing. Drives root-cause analysis, quality metrics, defect reduction, AI-enabled feature validation, and continuous improvement while mentoring engineers and influencing architecture and release decisions.

Configure and support Label Traxx accounting modules for manufacturing customers. Troubleshoot financial reporting, reconciliation, workflow, configuration, integration, and software issues across the ERP, while managing cases through resolution. Support implementations, upgrades, migrations, testing, customer training, and documentation. Partner with Product, Development, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Technical Support teams to resolve issues for customers in North America and Europe.

Leads product execution for a labeling ERP product line and coordinates product owners across labeling and corrugated ERP products. Translates roadmaps into epics, user stories, backlogs, requirements, and development plans. Facilitates PI and sprint ceremonies, reviews PDLC artifacts, establishes standards, coaches product owners, and collaborates with engineering, QA, UX, architecture, sales, support, and product leadership to deliver customer-focused capabilities.

Provide end-to-end support for the EnCore ERP platform focused on plant-floor workflows, production scheduling, inventory, and order-to-cash. Troubleshoot application, database, and system issues using SQL, logs, and diagnostics; own cases, create KB content, coordinate cross-team escalations, and assist with testing, upgrades, and off-hours incident support for customers in North America and Europe.

Execute manual and basic automated tests, document and report defects, perform API and database validation, develop Playwright tests with JavaScript/TypeScript guidance, participate in Agile ceremonies, and use AI-assisted testing tools while validating outputs and following quality and security standards.

Lead and support customer implementations of Amtech ERP software, including requirements gathering, solution configuration, process documentation, testing, user training, troubleshooting, and go-live support. Partner with customers on solution design, deliver ERP knowledge transfer, identify delivery risks, support proposals and presales activities, and contribute to implementation standards, process improvement, and peer mentoring. Travel up to 50% is required.

Provides end-to-end technical application support for Label Traxx, Batched, and Siteline platforms. Troubleshoots application, database, reporting, integration, Windows server, workflow, and infrastructure issues; investigates logs and queries; supports scheduling, implementations, upgrades, and customer integrations. Creates documentation, escalates defects, validates releases, and partners with product, development, infrastructure, professional services, and customer success teams. Print industry experience is mandatory, with occasional off-hours support for critical incidents and upgrades.

Own quality activities for user stories and small features from requirements through release validation. Design and execute manual, exploratory, API, database, UI, integration, regression, and automated tests. Develop and maintain Playwright automation using JavaScript or TypeScript, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, investigate failures, report defects, and assess release readiness. Collaborate in Agile teams, use AI-assisted testing tools responsibly, improve testability, and mentor Associate QA Engineers.

Leads technical improvements across a complex enterprise portal, owning major features and architecture decisions. Establishes engineering standards for databases, testing, code review, logging, deployments, and incident response. Modernizes legacy systems incrementally, leads production incident investigations, mentors engineers, and coordinates with product, QA, customer success, and business leadership. The role also drives team-wide AI adoption through workflow integration, validation practices, tool governance, and developer mentoring.

Own quality assurance for assigned software features from requirements through release. Design and execute manual, exploratory, API, database, UI, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests. Develop and maintain Playwright automation using JavaScript or TypeScript, integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, report defects, validate fixes, and advise on release readiness. Leads multiple customer implementation projects and strategic internal initiatives from planning through delivery. Responsibilities include managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, milestones, reporting, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement. The role supports sales and operational initiatives, mentors project staff, may provide people leadership, and collaborates across departments to meet customer, operational, and financial objectives.

Supports ERP customer implementations through requirements gathering, solution configuration, documentation, testing, training, and presentations. Partners with customers on business requirements and solution design, contributes to proposals and presales activities, manages delivery risks, develops implementation materials, and mentors peers. The role supports multiple concurrent projects and requires travel of up to 50%.

Design, implement, and operate security controls across cloud, infrastructure, and SaaS. Lead identity, detection, vulnerability, and incident response efforts; automate controls with IaC; support compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001); mentor engineers and drive security architecture and detection engineering.

Work on a large enterprise codebase supporting corrugated manufacturing operations. Develop and maintain Java 17/Java EE applications, deploy on TomEE/OpenEJB, design and optimize SQL Server schemas and queries, build/consume REST APIs, and use Windows/Eclipse, PowerShell, and Git for development, build, and deployment tasks.

Contribute to modernizing the EnCore ERP platform by developing modules with WiseJ, C#, ASP.NET and ADO.NET; design REST APIs; optimize SQL and stored procedures; apply design patterns; implement logging/monitoring; collaborate with US and local Product/QA/DevOps/UX teams; and participate in agile ceremonies.
