Design, build, commission, and troubleshoot vacuum thin‑film deposition and related subsystems (motion, thermal, vacuum, gas, power). Produce CAD models/drawings, define BOMs and reliability targets, and collaborate on automation and manufacturing scale‑up for superconducting tape and wire production.

Lead design, commissioning, and scaling of vacuum thin-film deposition equipment and subsystems (motion, thermal, vacuum, gas, power). Own equipment architecture, CAD deliverables, vendor selection, automation strategy, and mentor junior engineers while partnering with manufacturing and operations for production reliability.

Own commissioning and day-to-day operations of a new HTS manufacturing facility: lead buildout, equipment installation and qualification, develop SOPs/EHS/quality systems, manage chemical handling, vendors, maintenance, and scale the operations team.
