Manages the Emily Dickinson Museum’s development operations, including Veevart CRM administration, database integrity, fundraising reports, gift processing, reconciliations, donor stewardship, prospect research, wealth screening, grants administration, and event logistics. The role supports fundraising strategy through analytics, portfolio management, targeted lists, donor communications, and cross-functional coordination with staff, vendors, consultants, and Amherst College’s Controller’s Office.

Processes departmental bulk and outgoing mailings, ensuring USPS compliance, presort discounts, accurate postage allocation, and timely delivery. Operates mailing, printing, finishing, and packaging equipment; manages postal accounts, permits, reconciliations, and chargeback reports. Provides customer consultation, handles foreign packages and UPS shipments, trains staff, and supports print shop activities including binding, trimming, mounting, laminating, and banner finishing. Maintains equipment performance and serves as liaison with USPS.

Manages library access services across three locations, supervising professional and student staff, coordinating schedules, training, front-desk operations, user accounts, and service policies. Resolves complex user issues, ensures consistent customer service and desk coverage, oversees student employment, maintains documentation and supplies, and represents Amherst on the Five College Access Committee. The role requires regular Sunday–Thursday front-desk and on-call duties, collaboration across campus, and commitment to equitable and inclusive service.

Provides strategic leadership for Amherst College’s public history, historical recovery, and engagement initiatives. Oversees public art, story-mapping, oral history, archival research, digital storytelling, curricular connections, community relationships, and student research. Leads committees and multifaceted teams, develops learning opportunities, supports faculty, manages historical narratives involving underrepresented communities, coordinates descendant-community engagement, and advances institutional understanding of its history.

Lead Advancement communications strategy, editorial direction, and project management to strengthen alumni and donor engagement. Manage a communications team, develop integrated multi-channel campaigns, ensure brand alignment, measure performance, and lead cross-functional initiatives supporting fundraising and institutional priorities. Regular on-campus presence and occasional evening/weekend support required.

Two-year entry-level role supporting Amherst CollegeEndowment. Conduct investment due diligence, research managers and assets across public/private markets, contribute written analyses, support portfolio operations, organize data, collaborate with stakeholders and student groups, and occasionally travel (~10%). Provides training, mentorship, and support for CFA/CAIA study.

The Senior Major Gift Officer manages a portfolio of alumni donors, securing six- and seven-figure gifts through tailored engagement strategies and collaboration with college initiatives. They work with diverse teams, utilizing data to meet fundraising goals while engaging in frequent travel and events.

Lead Reunion and class engagement efforts: plan and execute events, manage logistics and communications, steward volunteers and alumni, use CRM and data to drive class giving strategies, and coordinate cross-campus partners to deliver seamless, hospitality-focused engagement that advances philanthropy.
