Lead and supervise Advancement gift and biographical data operations, ensuring accurate gift processing and constituent records in the CRM. Oversee data quality projects, develop and enforce data policies and governance, coordinate cross-campus data-sharing, and partner on automation and reporting initiatives. Manage staff, support professional development, and provide coverage coordination for reception and event needs.

Provides strategic leadership for Amherst College’s public history, historical recovery, and engagement initiatives. Oversees public art, story-mapping, oral history, archival research, digital storytelling, curricular connections, community relationships, and student research. Leads committees and multifaceted teams, develops learning opportunities, supports faculty, manages historical narratives involving underrepresented communities, coordinates descendant-community engagement, and advances institutional understanding of its history.

Lead Advancement communications strategy, editorial direction, and project management to strengthen alumni and donor engagement. Manage a communications team, develop integrated multi-channel campaigns, ensure brand alignment, measure performance, and lead cross-functional initiatives supporting fundraising and institutional priorities. Regular on-campus presence and occasional evening/weekend support required.
