American Public Power Association

The American Public Power Association is a non-profit, non-partisan trade association representing approximately 2,000 community-owned electric utilities in the United States. Its mission is to advance the public policy interests of its members, provide services to ensure reliable and affordable electricity, and promote environmental protection. It serves as the national advocate for public power in Washington, D.C., and facilitates collaboration, training, and benchmarking for its member utilities.
