Serves as chief legal counsel and senior advisor to the CEO, Board, and executive leadership. Leads the Legal and Compliance departments, overseeing governance, commercial contracts, litigation, investigations, employment law, privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, insurance, and enterprise risk. Advises on AKC rules, disciplinary processes, regulatory developments, and organizational strategy while managing legal staff, outside counsel, vendors, budgets, and legal operations.

Maintains and enhances enterprise network infrastructure, including routing, switching, VLANs, segmentation, VPNs, firewalls, and secure connectivity. Monitors performance, resolves complex network and security issues, supports infrastructure modernization projects, and maintains technical documentation. The role collaborates across infrastructure teams and offers exposure to virtualization, storage, cloud, cybersecurity, and backup technologies.

Processes performance event applications and results across approximately 15 sports, verifies information against regulations, resolves missing or incorrect data, and maintains event records. Provides telephone and email support to clubs, exhibitors, trainers, and handlers regarding results, titles, awards, websites, and event systems. Follows up on outstanding submissions, processes payments and documentation, and meets monthly deadlines while managing high workloads and frequent distractions.
