Performs routine legal support under attorney direction, including legal research, document drafting and filing, discovery coordination, case preparation, deadline monitoring, records management, and regulatory correspondence. The role organizes business and legal documents, supports legal department projects, and serves as an initial contact for routine legal matters.

Supports development, execution, measurement, and ongoing refinement of digital strategies for assigned teams. Responsibilities include strategic planning, scorecard and metric development, investment value tracking, business-outcome presentations, stakeholder relationship management, and coordination with digital program and portfolio offices. The role requires translating technology and business priorities into strategic initiatives, operational plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes while supporting quarterly, annual, and five-year planning processes.

Build and maintain relationships with legislators, utilities, lobbyists, and stakeholder organizations. Develop coalitions, monitor legislation and hearings, determine and communicate company policy positions, present strategies to senior leadership, and represent Ameren Missouri at community and stakeholder events. The role advocates for legislative priorities and coordinates internal and external engagement around utility policy issues.

Performs moderately complex operational and clerical work, including data entry, records management, reporting, customer communication, billing documentation, meter and service order processing, and support for field and engineering personnel. The role requires independent judgment, accurate handling of detailed records, coordination with internal and external contacts, training support, office resource management, and assistance with storm restoration operations.

Supports Ameren’s Supply Chain team with strategic sourcing, procurement projects, category management, supplier and market intelligence, RFP analysis, demand planning, inventory processes, and process improvement initiatives. The intern will develop analytical and economic models, assist with team activities, complete a key project, and present results to executives. This is a full-time hybrid internship in St. Louis from January through August 2027.

The Mechanical Engineer supports the nuclear power plant operations by ensuring compliance with regulations, troubleshooting equipment, and providing engineering support. Responsibilities include system health monitoring, technical evaluations, and documentation revisions.

The Line Troubleman patrols, repairs, and restores service on electric circuits, responds to customer calls, operates substations, and handles incident reports.

The ADMS Engineer will design, implement, and maintain the Advanced Distribution Management System, providing technical support, training, and system enhancements for electric utility operations.

Plan and execute IT audits of digital systems, cybersecurity, data privacy, change management and SOX controls. Assess risks, report findings, support remediation, collaborate with management and external auditors, and assist on project/process control reviews.

Summer full-time internship supporting Ameren Supply Chain across planning, procurement, inventory, supplier diversity, contracting, and transformation initiatives. Interns support sourcing, category management, RFP development and analysis, demand planning data collection, cost modeling, and process improvement. Assigned a mentor, complete a key project, present results to executives, and participate in team meetings.

Lead development and execution of Ameren-wide sourcing and category strategies for new gas generation spend. Manage supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, risk mitigation, cost modeling (TCO), market intelligence, and stakeholder engagement. Lead cross-functional teams, drive supplier performance, and implement sourcing initiatives to ensure supply continuity, cost savings, and value realization for large-scale generation projects.
