May work extended hours during storms or emergencies.

Supervise and train electrical apprentices and crews, enforce safety and construction standards, develop and deliver training programs, evaluate apprentice performance, support field operations and emergency storm response, and provide technical expertise to operations and engineering teams.

The ADMS Engineer will design, implement, and maintain the Advanced Distribution Management System, providing technical support, training, and system enhancements for electric utility operations.

Design, implement, and maintain a hybrid cloud/on-premise DERMS using container-based architectures. Configure environments, integrate with ADMS/SCADA/GIS and enterprise systems, create documentation and runbooks, provide 24x7 operational support, troubleshoot performance, and deliver software improvements to optimize distributed energy resource integration.

Provide engineering support for maintenance, operations, design, and modifications at Energy Centers. Perform field inspections, reliability and efficiency studies, implement codes/standards, develop engineering solutions, prepare reports and specifications, and support reliability and corrective action programs. Support on-call work, overtime, and travel between Missouri energy centers.

Supervise and lead electric field crews to ensure safe, efficient construction, operations, and maintenance of distribution systems. Plan and schedule work, enforce standards and collective bargaining compliance, coach and develop co-workers, support storm restoration, use systems (Maximo/ARCOS/TRIS) for work tracking, and coordinate with internal teams for materials and prerequisites to deliver reliable customer service.

Oversee contractor performance and coordinate internal/external resources to execute energy efficiency and demand response programs. Manage contracts, approve invoices, track metrics and budgets, lead project implementation using PM best practices, support marketing/outreach, maintain stakeholder relationships, and stay current on industry trends.

Lead and manage a data analytics team to develop reports, dashboards, data models, and analytics solutions. Prioritize work, allocate resources, mentor junior staff in analytics, visualization, data science principles, and agile processes, and partner with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.

Provide financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and statistical reporting to support planning and performance assessment. Monitor variances, manage accruals, assist with funding reallocations, develop procedures, analyze source systems, and support special projects and internal reporting.

Manage and oversee energy efficiency and demand response programs, including contractor performance, vendor and contract compliance, invoice review, stakeholder outreach, marketing support, program metrics tracking, project management, and internal/external communications. Support program design, lead implementation efforts, and mentor staff while staying current on industry trends.

Respond to AMI system alerts and replace or install electric AMI/AMR meters and gas modules; perform meter exchanges, service connect/disconnect, leak checks, regulator adjustments, voltage checks, tampering investigations, troubleshooting, relighting gas appliances, and other field meter maintenance tasks per safety and IBEW agreement.

Plan and execute IT audits of digital systems, cybersecurity, data privacy, change management and SOX controls. Assess risks, report findings, support remediation, collaborate with management and external auditors, and assist on project/process control reviews.

Perform financial and operational audits to evaluate regulatory compliance, internal controls, and business risks (including SOX). Support audit planning, collaborate with management and external auditors, identify findings, and help develop remediation action plans. Assist senior auditors with risk assessments, analytics, and special projects while communicating results clearly.

The Line Troubleman patrols, repairs, and restores service on electric circuits, responds to customer calls, operates substations, and handles incident reports.

Oversee and dispatch Ameren Missouri generation assets and maintain real-time operations with MISO. Remotely operate and start/stop CTG fleet, manage unit performance, update offer parameters, monitor alarms, coordinate with plant control rooms and transmission operations, and ensure compliance with NERC procedures and voltage/generator capability limits.

Support legal operations by implementing tech and processes, managing analytics and financials, building dashboards, driving process improvements, and coordinating paralegal/legal assistant effectiveness.
