Designs, develops, fabricates, and tests softgoods for advanced space suits and support systems. Creates patterns, mockups, fabrication drawings, and sewn products; operates and modifies specialized fabrication equipment; documents designs and processes; researches materials and manufacturing techniques; and collaborates with engineers, technicians, and designers. The role also involves occasional travel to NASA centers or contractors, physical handling of materials, and maintaining organized laboratory spaces.

Design, develop, fabricate, and test softgoods for manned spaceflight, including stowage solutions, inflatables, spacesuit equipment, and thermal blankets. Create patterns, mockups, and fabrication drawings; operate and modify sewing and fabrication equipment; collaborate with engineers and designers; develop innovative materials and manufacturing techniques; and occasionally travel to NASA centers for fabrication and installation.

Performs litigation paralegal and legal assistant duties under close supervision, including legal research, document filing, subpoena packet preparation, case precedent summaries, deadline docketing, and courtroom support. Requires familiarity with legal citations, LEXIS, Westlaw, automated litigation support, eDiscovery procedures, ESI tools, document management systems, and office applications. The role requires a paralegal certificate or equivalent legal education and at least one year of litigation paralegal or related project experience.
