Supervise quality control personnel and inspection activities across incoming, in-process, and finished food products. Ensure compliance with USDA standards, customer specifications, GMPs, sanitation, and food safety regulations. Train and calibrate inspectors, review reports, authorize product dispositions, manage shelf life and product rotation, analyze quality trends, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement. The role requires warehouse work in refrigerated conditions, overtime, weekends, holidays, and travel to remote locations as needed.

Provides sales and logistics support for fresh produce customers by processing orders, tracking shipments, coordinating pickups and deliveries, managing carrier rates, optimizing loads and shipping locations, monitoring freight costs, maintaining customer data, and resolving service issues. The role also supports sales reporting, customer communications, account reconciliation, presentations, and trade shows while coordinating among sales teams, growers, warehouses, carriers, and logistics providers.

Lead daily quality control operations in packing and cold storage for fresh produce. Supervise and train QC inspectors, assign inspections, perform incoming/outgoing berry inspections, verify compliance with USDA and customer specifications, enforce GMPs and food safety, support product disposition decisions, monitor shelf-life and inventory rotation, and travel to remote locations as needed.
