Coordinates alumni and constituent engagement through marketing, communications, digital content, events, and relationship-building initiatives. Develops content calendars, newsletters, social media, webpages, and promotional materials; supports event logistics, stewardship, reporting, and Alvernia Women’s Council activities. Facilitates and instructs learners of all ages in Total Experience Learning programs. Develops competency-based curricula, instructional materials, syllabi, learning plans, and assessments; provides feedback and documents student progress. Collaborates with university departments, industry representatives, and community partners to align programming with educational and occupational needs. Supports professional development, special projects, program growth, and external representation of the TExpL Institute.

Supports the Community News Lab through editorial coordination, story development, copyediting, multimedia content workflows, media and community partnerships, audience engagement, social media promotion, event participation, and program administration. The assistant works with student journalists, faculty, media organizations, nonprofits, and community partners to develop and distribute community-centered journalism while maintaining editorial calendars and tracking projects and outcomes.

Provides one-on-one and group career advising, including resume reviews and mock interviews, for students and alumni. Supports employer outreach, Handshake job postings, career fairs, events, email inquiries, marketing, and supervision of undergraduate staff. Participates in meetings and training while demonstrating reliability, initiative, communication, collaboration, and effective time management. The assistant must work in person, maintain professional attire, and remain enrolled full-time in an Alvernia graduate program.

Manages and promotes a business lab by monitoring activity, tracking usage, gathering feedback, and improving the user experience. Provides timely technical support, academic and research guidance, and assistance with lab software and technologies. Maintains a welcoming environment, promotes lab resources and services, and supports planning, organization, assessment, and sustained lab utilization.

Plans and leads academic library information literacy instruction, research and reference services, assessment, collection development, and faculty liaison activities. Develops research guides and instructional videos, supports open educational resources, maintains the library webpage, assists with technical services, and supervises graduate assistants. The role also contributes to library policies, committees, displays, social media oversight, and evening reference coverage.

Teach undergraduate and graduate management courses across in-person, accelerated, online, and hybrid formats. Advise and mentor students, develop curriculum, assess programs, participate in departmental and university service, and contribute to experiential and innovative teaching.
