Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, implementing care plans, transcribing physician orders, documenting resident care, completing assessments, coordinating shift reports, educating support staff, maintaining infection-control and safety standards, and arranging replacement staff when needed. Requires an RN or LVN license in good standing, strong assessment and documentation skills, effective communication, organization, and emergency responsiveness.
