Own Alma's end-to-end finance function and operational glue: build and maintain the financial model, run monthly close, forecasts, unit economics, headcount planning, investor and board reporting, and support fundraising. Simultaneously design and fix internal and legal operations, write spend and approval policies, oversee AR/AP and outsourced finance partners, build reporting cadences and playbooks, and lead cross-functional projects like vendor consolidation and office decisions.

The Product Engineer will develop AI-powered products by managing both backend and frontend tasks, collaborating closely with founding teams and customers. Responsibilities include feature ownership, coding, testing, and using AI tooling to enhance development speed.

Provide real-time eligibility assessments and sales strategy for employment-based visas, make intake go/no-go decisions, track USCIS trends, productize legal knowledge into guides and tools, create content and knowledge-base materials, support limited casework and RFE responses, and represent the company at events.

Build end-to-end AI-powered product features: design agentic pipelines, RAG and LLM orchestration, backend services, and user-facing React UIs. Implement eval/observability systems, mitigate hallucinations, optimize production latency/cost, and work closely with founders, legal users, and product to ship and iterate customer-focused AI experiences.

Serve as the legal partner to Marketing: translate intake facts into eligibility strategies, review and create community and marketing content, participate in public education (videos, webinars, AMAs), publish attorney-backed updates, build scalable legal systems and knowledge bases, and collaborate across Growth, Product, and Legal to scale trusted immigration guidance.

Own a high-volume SMB sales motion: run full-cycle deals from discovery to close, qualify inbound leads, prospect into early-stage companies, educate founders on visa options, manage pipeline and CRM, accurately forecast, and collaborate with Legal for smooth handoffs.

Build end-to-end AI-native product features: design backend (APIs, DB), build frontend, deploy and test. Partner with founders, designers, and legal users, use coding agents and MCP servers to scale the platform and ship high-quality ML/LLM-powered workflows.
