Owns end-to-end fund accounting and administration for private market funds, including financial statements, capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, cash management, and audit support. Interprets fund documents, partners with banking, legal, audit, and tax providers, resolves investor inquiries, and collaborates with product and engineering teams to automate workflows and improve compliance processes.

Own end-to-end accounting and operations for complex private equity and venture capital funds, including allocations, capital calls, distributions, investor reporting, cash management, financial statements, and audit support. Review accountants’ work, interpret partnership agreements and side letters, calculate waterfalls and fees, coordinate with external providers, mentor colleagues, and partner with product and engineering teams on automation and process improvements.

Executes daily fund operations across capital calls, distributions, wires, reconciliations, expenses, credit facilities, investor records, and quarterly financial reviews. Partners with fund administrators, banks, auditors, and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely execution. Documents workflows and builds automation for payment matching, expense allocation, accruals, reconciliations, reporting, and exception alerting, helping the platform scale its fund portfolio without proportional headcount growth.

Own sales and revenue operations for multiple sales motions, including pipeline tracking, forecasting, activity reporting, territory coverage, CRM hygiene, and account ownership. Build trustworthy reporting for the CRO, CEO, board, and investors; improve sales process definitions and funnel metrics; coordinate pipeline reviews; support revenue recognition and unit economics reporting; and reduce reporting overhead for relationship managers.

Provide legal support for private fund formation and operations, including drafting and negotiating fund documents, regulatory filings (Form ADV, PF, D), investor onboarding, corporate governance, and compliance for registered advisers and private investment funds. Collaborate with internal teams, external counsel, and contribute to development of investment and technology products.

Lead as a technical operator between product, engineering, design, and leadership to remove blockers, accelerate delivery, and compress feedback loops. Drive rapid prototyping-to-production cycles, introduce AI tooling and lightweight processes, directly contribute to delivery, surface risks and dependencies, and scale team workflows so the product organization ships higher-quality features faster.

Own and build Allocate’s design function across product, design systems, and brand. Lead hands-on product design for complex private-market workflows, establish quality and validation practices, shape product strategy with executive and engineering leadership, and hire, coach, and develop a distributed design team. The role requires deep institutional finance or private-markets knowledge, strong prototyping skills, and fluency with Figma, Magic Patterns, and Claude. This hybrid position requires three days weekly in the Palo Alto office.

Build and ship end-to-end features across Vue.js and TypeScript interfaces, C#/.NET APIs, and PostgreSQL schemas. Work autonomously within a cross-functional squad to develop client and admin portals, improve scalability, ensure security and quality, and deliver production-ready software. Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex as a core development workflow, evaluate emerging tools, and help establish repeatable AI-assisted engineering practices.

Manage end-to-end fund operations for 150+ funds including capital calls, distributions, wires, reconciliations, lines of credit, fee and expense tracking, and investor inquiries. Coordinate with fund admins, banks, custodians, and internal teams, document processes, resolve operational breaks, and drive client-focused issue resolution and scalable workflows.

Design and implement backend APIs and performant database schemas (Postgres/SQL); build scalable, testable C# services; work in Agile cross-functional squads; incorporate AI-assisted development tools; and drive engineering maturity and efficiency.

Lead relationships with RIAs and wealth advisory firms to scale private markets programs using Allocate's platform. Drive platform adoption, revenue, and long-term partnerships across alternatives offerings; collaborate with investment, product, and operations teams; represent Allocate at industry events.

Lead and expand relationships with RIAs, multi-family offices, and private wealth managers to drive adoption of Allocate's private markets platform. Serve as a trusted advisor on private equity, venture capital, co-investments, and portfolio construction; deliver training, thought leadership, and high-touch relationship management. Provide market feedback to internal teams and represent the firm at industry events to grow brand presence.

Own and build AI-first internal operating systems and workflow automation for sales, marketing, operations, compliance, and revenue. Partner cross-functionally to replace manual processes with robust, reliable, AI-powered systems that scale the business and reduce manual work.

Own end-to-end revenue recognition (ASC 606) and billing operations, manage invoicing and reconciliations, build scalable billing processes and controls, partner cross-functionally on contracts and system implementations, support audits, perform technical accounting research, and lead automation and team growth initiatives.

Validate and reconcile fund and financial data, investigate and resolve data issues, own daily operational workflows, partner with data and engineering to improve quality, and build/document scalable procedures to support private-markets operations.

Build, train, fine-tune, evaluate, and deploy machine learning and LLM models for production. Create monitoring, evaluation, and feedback tooling, evaluate new techniques, and collaborate cross-functionally to ship ML-powered features.

Build and scale Allocate's AWS-based data lakehouse and pipelines (batch and real-time). Model financial entities and integrate internal/third-party sources. Enable ML/AI workflows, vector and knowledge-graph integrations, CI/CD and containerized deployments, and collaborate with engineering to deliver reliable, production-grade data and AI infrastructure.

Provide Tier 1/2 end-user support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and SaaS for a 80+ hybrid workforce; manage provisioning, SaaS access, device and asset inventory, and vendor coordination; support security operations and SOC 2 evidence collection, access reviews, MFA enforcement, endpoint compliance, and alert monitoring in partnership with an MSP.
