Generates and qualifies business and channel-partner leads through 30–45 daily outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach. Communicates product value propositions, uncovers opportunities, schedules qualified meetings for outside sales, manages opportunities in Salesforce, and occasionally supports deals through closing. The role requires strong communication, probing, listening, teamwork, quota performance, and willingness to learn technology and competitive markets.

Provides technical sales support for direct and channel business, leading discovery, solution design, evaluations, proofs of concept, demonstrations, and deal closure. Designs networking solutions for datacenter, campus, and distributed retail environments; presents architectures, responds to RFIs/RFPs, resolves technical issues, and advises customers, partners, product management, and engineering. Requires extensive networking and presales experience, strong communication skills, and up to 75% regional travel.

Designs and verifies rugged industrial Ethernet switch hardware, including digital and analog circuits, power entry, low-voltage supplies, PoE, embedded processors, Ethernet interfaces, and PCB assemblies. Performs EMC compliance, thermal and system testing, hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, lifecycle support, manufacturing coordination, documentation, and design reviews. Requires independent execution, mentoring, supplier collaboration, and support for harsh-environment products used in utilities, transportation, industrial automation, and outdoor applications.

Designs and reviews hardware systems, including schematics and PCB layouts, based on product requirements and technical specifications. Conducts feasibility studies, supports manufacturing and product release, sustains products throughout their lifecycle, and evaluates new technologies. Collaborates with management, production, marketing, and board design teams to assess engineering feasibility, costs, schedules, customer demand, and product improvements.
