Responsibilities include shipment scheduling, load planning, freight optimization, carrier and broker management, delivery performance, documentation, compliance, issue resolution, and logistics personnel leadership. The role coordinates production and project requirements to ensure safe, accurate, cost-effective, and timely deliveries across North America.

Leads strategic sourcing for indirect spend, steel, and fabricated components. Owns category strategies, RFQ/RFP events, supplier qualification, negotiations, cost modeling, supplier performance, risk mitigation, and supply continuity. Partners with engineering, operations, finance, and planning to deliver savings, manage contracts, track KPIs, and resolve supplier issues. Also supports procure-to-pay activities and mentors junior team members.

Own and extend an Elixir and Phoenix backend powering a building configurator, pricing engine, structural calculations, and internal tools. Implement numerically complex business logic, background processing, database functionality, third-party integrations, authentication, testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and releases. Work independently while communicating decisions and progress clearly with the backend lead and front-end developer.

Provides administrative and financial support for logistics operations by processing carrier invoices, verifying charges, coordinating payments and remittances, maintaining shipping documentation, tracking project logistics budgets, resolving discrepancies, supporting carrier claims, and completing project financial reconciliations and closeout activities.

Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for steel, fabricated components, cladding, commodities, capital equipment, MRO, and logistics. Lead international RFQs, supplier qualification, negotiations, contracts, performance management, cost savings, risk mitigation, and supply continuity. Partner with engineering, operations, finance, quality, and project teams on technical requirements and manufacturing schedules. Analyze commodity markets and sourcing KPIs, support ERP optimization and sustainability initiatives, and mentor junior team members. Requires approximately 20–30% domestic and international travel.

Manage construction, steel, manufacturing, or related projects from turnover through closeout. Responsibilities include coordinating teams, schedules, budgets, procurement, fabrication, delivery, customer communication, change orders, financial performance, risk mitigation, documentation, and project closeout. The role requires interpreting technical documents, managing vendors and suppliers, resolving issues, maintaining profitability, and improving project management processes.

Support execution of structural steel scopes for large projects (notably data centers). Coordinate technical deliverables, manage document control, perform cost estimating and quantity takeoffs, support scheduling and critical-path analysis, prepare technical reports/shop drawings/as-builts, troubleshoot across design/fabrication/erection, implement process improvements, and travel up to 25%.

Sell pre-engineered metal building systems by prospecting new clients, managing territory pipeline, providing technical guidance, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and coordinating project delivery and post-sale support.
