Teams at Allied Steel

Leads strategic sourcing for indirect spend, steel, and fabricated components. Owns category strategies, RFQ/RFP events, negotiations, supplier qualification, cost modeling, performance management, and supply continuity. Partners with engineering, operations, planning, and finance to deliver savings, mitigate supplier risk, track KPIs, and support procure-to-pay activities. Mentors junior team members and travels occasionally, approximately 15%.

Supports sourcing strategies for indirect spend, steel, and fabricated components. Responsibilities include RFQ/RFP execution, bid analysis, supplier evaluation and onboarding, negotiations, supplier performance management, cost savings, market monitoring, purchase orders, and supply continuity planning. The role collaborates with engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and suppliers in a manufacturing environment, with approximately 10% travel.

Supports structural steel and building project execution for large-scale data center developments. Responsibilities include document control, cost estimating, quantity takeoffs, technical submittals, scheduling, issue resolution, and coordination across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning teams. The role also contributes to process improvement and requires travel up to 25%.
