Oversee biweekly payroll processing for more than 1,200 employees across 35+ states. Ensure accurate wages, deductions, taxes, PTO administration, records, reporting, audits, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Maintain payroll systems, resolve employee inquiries, recommend process improvements, and collaborate with HR and Accounting. The role requires strong payroll, HRIS, analytical, organizational, and compliance expertise, with occasional evening or weekend work.

Responsible for income tax provisions, federal/state/local tax filings, tax reconciliations, business licensing, compliance calendars, tax notices, and regulatory research across multiple entities and jurisdictions. Supports month-end close, financial reporting, audits, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal control improvements. Requires strong accounting, tax, Excel, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsible for maintaining cost allocation methodologies, recording allocation journal entries, analyzing financial results and variances, and supporting inventory costing, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, audits, and process improvements across a multi-entity healthcare organization.
