Follows up on denied and overdue insurance claims, investigates unpaid accounts through payer calls and online systems, submits appeals and medical records, reviews payer correspondence, documents claim activity, and responds to field inquiries. Maintains payer relationships, supports reimbursement issue resolution, stays current on healthcare regulations and coding, completes required compliance training, and follows organizational policies.

Provides direct patient care in a physician office, including taking histories, diagnosing and treating patients, developing care plans, prescribing medications, conducting triage, educating patients, coordinating appointments, and consulting supervising physicians. Maintains patient records, confidentiality, compliance, and professional licensure while participating in training and educational activities.

Coordinates daily medical practice operations, including clerical staffing, scheduling, training, patient check-in and check-out, billing, collections, accounts receivable, supplies, and process improvements. Supervises clerical and clinical personnel, supports compliance and confidentiality requirements, promotes efficient patient flow, and helps deliver a positive patient experience.
