Leads accounts receivable operations, including student accounts, invoicing, sponsorship billing, collections, reconciliations, and financial controls. Supervises and develops staff, ensures accurate customer service, owns accounts receivable processes within the Student Information System, and partners across the institution on process improvement, metrics, technology implementation, and system modernization.

Leads treasury and financial services operations, including cash management, investments, banking relationships, financial accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and Ministry compliance. Manages and develops a financial operations team, strengthens internal controls, oversees financial reporting, supports system enhancements and automation, and drives process improvements. Partners with institutional leaders to resolve complex financial challenges and improve operational effectiveness while ensuring alignment with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Coordinates institutional AI projects and pilot portfolios supporting teaching and learning priorities. Develops implementation frameworks, operational processes, evaluation methods, governance, monitoring, and reporting. Provides evidence-informed recommendations, identifies risks and opportunities, and leads cross-portfolio collaboration. Partners with academic and administrative teams to align AI initiatives, support faculty development, promote consistent practices, and guide continuous improvement.

Leads Algonquin College’s enterprise cybersecurity strategy, governance, risk management, security operations, incident response, compliance, and awareness programs. Advises senior leadership and governance bodies, oversees audits and security assessments, strengthens organizational resilience, manages cybersecurity teams, projects, budgets, vendors, and investigations, and builds partnerships to embed security across technology services and digital initiatives.

Develop curriculum, lab exercises, and assessments for an Electronics and Embedded Systems Development graduate certificate. Collaborate with Learning and Teaching Services and the Academic Chair to create theory, hands-on projects, and evaluations across six embedded systems courses. Support student success and may be considered for future teaching roles.
