Leads strategic talent acquisition and workforce planning across the College, including executive recruitment, talent pipeline development, workforce forecasting, staffing allocation, HRIS and AI-enabled recruiting optimization, and advisory support for leaders. The role provides coaching on inclusive hiring, interprets collective agreements, analyzes workforce trends, improves recruitment processes, and delivers strong candidate and hiring manager experiences in a complex, multi-union environment.

Provides academic leadership for the Security, Systems, and Networking department, overseeing faculty, support staff, students, curriculum, course delivery, scheduling, budgeting, and financial viability. The Chair ensures programs remain relevant to student and community needs, supports teaching excellence, develops partnerships, manages curriculum development, and responds to changing technology-industry trends. The position requires regular on-site work at Algonquin College’s Woodroffe Campus.

Leads learner-focused change management, communications, and engagement for the R3 Project’s implementation of Thesis Student Management and the Thesis Student Portal. Responsibilities include developing change and communications plans, conducting stakeholder and impact assessments, coordinating consultations, creating learner-facing content, measuring readiness and engagement, and supporting presentations, showcases, campaigns, and events.
