Administers and supports enterprise backup, recovery, servers, virtualization, storage, and infrastructure services. Installs, configures, monitors, secures, troubleshoots, and maintains systems; performs recovery testing and validations; supports lifecycle changes; and provides technical guidance and documentation within established standards and change-management processes.

Provides academic leadership for the Security, Systems, and Networking department, overseeing faculty, support staff, students, curriculum, course delivery, scheduling, budgeting, and financial viability. The Chair ensures programs remain relevant to student and community needs, supports teaching excellence, develops partnerships, manages curriculum development, and responds to changing technology-industry trends. The position requires regular on-site work at Algonquin College’s Woodroffe Campus.

Develop curriculum, lab exercises, and assessments for an Electronics and Embedded Systems Development graduate certificate. Collaborate with Learning and Teaching Services and the Academic Chair to create theory, hands-on projects, and evaluations across six embedded systems courses. Support student success and may be considered for future teaching roles.
