Support production, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve electrical system reliability. Lead electrical projects from concept through commissioning, troubleshoot equipment, design process improvements, implement upgrades, apply root-cause analysis, and mentor plant personnel to strengthen technical capability.

Lead operational excellence programs by coordinating task forces, tracking KPIs, facilitating workshops, coaching leaders, and identifying value-chain improvements to drive productivity, EHS, production and financial performance.

Perform electrical isolations, commissioning, testing and maintenance across the smelter. Prepare work scopes, supervise projects and contractors, conduct handovers, audit work quality, and apply technical expertise to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Provide technical leadership for aluminium smelting potrooms and potlining, optimise process performance, manage Process Supervisors, analyse operational data, support improvement projects and develop team capability while ensuring safety and reliability.

Lead development and evolution of maintenance and reliability strategies for plant equipment. Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen/Apollo), define KPIs, develop diagnostic tools and alarms, run RCM/FMEA reviews, support capital projects for reliability and promote predictive technologies (vibration, oil analysis, thermography, ultrasonics, motor signature).

Perform maintenance, inspections, fault finding and repairs on fixed plant equipment (crushers, conveyors, stackers, hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, pipelines). Work within maintenance systems and quality/safety processes on a 12-hour shift roster, supporting operational continuity at the Willowdale bauxite site.

Lead technical authority for gallium plant operations, driving safe, stable production, process optimisation, commissioning, continuous improvement, project support and stakeholder engagement to meet business objectives.

Provide metallurgical support for a gallium hydrometallurgical plant: optimise recovery, throughput and product quality; troubleshoot process variability; run lab test work, plant trials and pilot campaigns; maintain metallurgical accounting and forecasting; and deliver process improvement projects to enhance recovery, efficiency and product purity.

Lead the Stores team at Huntly Bauxite Mine to ensure efficient warehouse and stores operations, inventory control, stock audits, customer liaison, repairable stock management, support planning for shutdowns, and coach and performance-manage Stores Officers.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and the Alcoa Business System to optimize production processes and eliminate waste. Develop process maps, deliver cost-saving projects, and implement visual management systems. Coach employees on Lean tools and foster a continuous improvement culture.

Provide plant-level occupational health and safety expertise: ensure regulatory compliance, develop and coordinate prevention programs, advise managers, conduct risk analyses and accident investigations, support deployment of standards and continuous improvement across production areas.

Partner with site leaders to deliver HR strategies in a manufacturing environment: manage leave administration, labor/union relations, HR systems, compliance, DEI, apprenticeship and training programs, analyze HR metrics, support employee relations, and champion safety and culture.

Assemble and install industrial machinery, perform mechanical maintenance and adjustments, work variable shifts, and follow safety and site procedures. Requires DEP en mécanique industrielle, 2–3 years relevant experience, flexibility and availability. Based at Alcoa Baie-Comeau plant.

Lead site operations at Alcoa Deschambault, set short-, mid- and long-term operational strategy, manage sector directors and a 10-person leadership team to deliver safe, compliant, efficient production. Drive EHS performance, asset reliability, cost optimization and continuous improvement via Alcoa Business System, and develop leadership and talent.

Perform physical production tasks using heavy machinery while ensuring safety and quality in a dynamic work environment. Duties include operating forklifts and cranes.
