Supports moderately complex mechanical capital projects from development through execution. Defines requirements and deliverables, validates drawings and technical specifications, coordinates engineering firms, suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, and contributes to feasibility studies, estimates, schedules, design reviews, risk assessments, and constructability reviews. Identifies technical issues and recommends safe, reliable, maintainable solutions. Requires regular travel to plants across the Northeast region and bilingual French and English communication.

Supports regional capital projects by defining electrical, automation, instrumentation, and controls requirements; validating engineering documentation; coordinating engineering firms, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders; and contributing to feasibility studies, design reviews, risk assessments, systems integration, commissioning, and continuous improvement. The role requires regular travel to Northeast facilities and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in English and French.

Serves as senior technical authority for electrical, automation, controls, and multidisciplinary capital projects across regional industrial operations. Defines project scopes, design criteria, interfaces, and deliverables; reviews designs, risks, estimates, schedules, vendor proposals, and phase-gate readiness. Integrates combustion systems, instrumentation, control logic, safety systems, and commissioning requirements. Develops engineering standards, improves project governance, and supports engineering-firm performance. Regular travel to Northeast regional operations is required.
