Hire, coach, forecast, sell alongside reps, run renewals, implement MEDDPICC and account plans, partner with cross-functional teams, and adopt AI-native sales tooling to drive repeatable, metrics-driven growth and forecast accuracy.

Lead outbound prospecting using AI, intent data, and sales automation to generate pipeline and qualified meetings with mid-market and enterprise buyers. Partner with AEs and marketing to run multi-channel, account-based campaigns, conduct discovery, and continuously optimize outreach to exceed meeting and pipeline targets.

Build frontend code for Alation’s AI-powered data intelligence product while applying strong UX and design judgment. Collaborate with product managers and engineers on copilot interactions, data visualization, and generative workflows. Improve component consistency, information hierarchy, progressive disclosure, and usability; resolve ambiguous product problems; and iterate based on team and user feedback. The role is hybrid in Redwood City, California, two days per week, and offered as a full-time contract with potential contract-to-hire.

Lead enterprise deployments of Alation for data intelligence, AI, and governance initiatives. Advise regulated-industry stakeholders, diagnose governance gaps, conduct discovery sessions and demonstrations, manage implementations, define KPIs, drive adoption, and present measurable business outcomes. Partner with account teams on expansion opportunities while applying expertise in data governance, data quality, metadata, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific compliance challenges.

The Software Engineer III role involves owning the design and development of key features and services, solving technical problems, and optimizing code, with a strong emphasis on AI-assisted development techniques.

Serve as a technical advisor for pre-sales and deployment engagements, guiding discovery, POVs, pilots, demos, and adoption workshops. Sell Alation's data intelligence platform to large enterprises by building executive relationships, leading multi-threaded C-level sales cycles, closing seven-figure deals, driving renewals and expansions, advising on AI/data transformations, and applying enterprise sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Value Selling). Collaborate with product, marketing, and partners to generate pipeline and execute strategic account plans.

Partner with HR leadership to support Chennai site people programs (performance, engagement, talent development), coach managers and employees, use data/AI to identify trends and improve employee experience, drive HRIS/tool adoption and ensure India compliance support.

Lead design and implementation of agentic AI enablement systems: build end-to-end agentic workflows (orchestration, guardrails, evaluation), maintain retrieval/search infrastructure (indexing, ranking, relevance), integrate MCP/APIs, and create human-in-the-loop editorial and enablement tooling with cross-functional stakeholders.

Work as an SDR in a high-impact pod supporting AEs, owning prospecting and outreach using sales tools, engaging stakeholders from ICs to C-suite, representing the company at events, and driving pipeline growth with clear promotion paths.

The Sr. GTM AI Analyst will design, automate, and optimize systems to enhance Alation's revenue operations, utilizing AI and engineering skills to build effective workflows and integrations.

As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will provide advanced technical support for the Alation platform, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to knowledge base creation.

Provide advanced technical support and act as escalation point for Alation customers. Troubleshoot complex issues across Linux, databases, web servers, Java/Python apps, and REST APIs; build lab setups, author documentation, and enable internal/external teams as an SME.
