This role provides inpatient medical care, including diagnosing conditions, managing patient care transitions, and responding to emergencies. Candidates are preferred to have experience in tribal healthcare settings and with a broad scope of inpatient medicine.

Provide venipuncture and capillary blood draws, process and label specimens, and document collection activities in the EHR across inpatient and outpatient settings. Coordinate with clinical teams, maintain infection control and HIPAA compliance, and support specimen transport and laboratory turnaround. Lead-level roles include supervising draw-station staff and overseeing daily phlebotomy operations.

Provide on-site pharmacy services in a correctional healthcare setting: dispense and manage medications, review orders for safety and interactions, maintain controlled substance inventory and perform audits, compound/verify preparations including IVs, advise clinical staff on drug therapy and formulary compliance, counsel patients, and document all clinical encounters in the BOP EMR.

Provide direct bedside nursing care to Veterans, administer medications and treatments per provider orders, monitor and document vitals and condition changes, assist with wound/catheter/IV care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families on discharge and self-care, and maintain accurate clinical documentation in the VA electronic health record.

The Registered Pharmacist will provide pharmaceutical services in a busy outpatient pharmacy, using EHR and automation for medication dispensing and safety.

Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room functioning as both scrub and circulating nurse: prepare surgical cases, monitor patients intraoperatively, manage instruments and sterile field, and coordinate with the surgical team across a range of procedures. 13-week contract (possible extension); M-F day shift with intermittent on-call (6-8 times/month). W-2 position.

Provide pediatric nursing care for infants, children, and adolescents in NIH Clinical Center research protocols. Perform age-appropriate assessments, medication administration, family-centered care, and overnight monitoring on night shift. 13-week W-2 contract, three 12-hour night shifts per week, with holidays and weekends as needed.

Provide outpatient nursing care across multispecialty clinics OP 7 and OP 10 at the Ambulatory Care Research Facility. Support varied clinic caseload including assessments, procedures, central line care, and protocol-driven outpatient services. 13-week assignment (possible extension). M-F shifts (7:00–15:30 or 8:00–16:30); no weekends or federal holidays.

Provide outpatient nursing care in an ambulatory research clinic: support patient visits, procedures, assessments, and protocol-driven care. Emphasize patient education, coordinate outpatient services, and provide clinical support to research and care teams.

Provide specialized apheresis nursing care at the NIH Clinical Center, performing and monitoring therapeutic and donor apheresis procedures, operating equipment, managing vascular access, monitoring for procedural reactions, and coordinating care with the multidisciplinary team. 13-week W-2 contract with M-F schedule and monthly weekend on-call.

The pharmacist will provide essential services for the Pharmacy program, including medication dispensing and patient counseling to ensure safe pharmaceutical care.

The ER Nurse provides critical care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries, requiring strong clinical skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
