Leads AirBorneo’s aviation security program across turboprop and jet operations. Oversees regulatory compliance, security operations, risk assessments, incident response, crisis management, audits, training, stakeholder coordination, budgets, and security technology procurement. Acts as the accountable AVSEC focal point and advises senior management on security risks, corrective actions, operational restrictions, and regulatory reporting.

Directs all flight operations, including safety, security, regulatory compliance, crew management, operational readiness, dispatch, rural and commercial services, budgeting, documentation, and stakeholder relations. The role holds overall authority for the Flight Operations Department, liaises with CAAM and other aviation stakeholders, manages operational policies and standards, and ensures compliance with AOC requirements and applicable regulations. Requires aviation management experience, ATPL/PIC status or equivalent competency, and CAAM approval as a Nominated Post Holder.

Provides executive direction during disruptions and safety events, manages audits and investigations, approves policies and resources, monitors KPIs, and drives continuous improvement, talent development, and operational excellence.

Leads the Operations Control Centre and network-wide flight control for jet, turboprop, and remote STOL operations. Oversees flight dispatch, safety, regulatory compliance, disruption management, on-time performance, infrastructure monitoring, technical flight planning, OCC budgets, dispatcher competency, training, audits, and regulatory liaison with CAAM and aviation authorities.

Leads AirBorneo’s corporate safety, quality, and regulatory compliance functions. Oversees the Safety Management System, compliance monitoring, audits, investigations, risk management, corrective actions, emergency response, flight data analysis, and operational change governance. Provides independent assurance to the CEO, liaises with CAAM, maintains IOSA and ICAO alignment, and oversees outsourced operational providers, aircraft induction, leases, new routes, and organizational changes. Requires senior aviation qualifications, at least five years of aviation management experience, and extensive Malaysian regulatory expertise.

Performs aircraft ramp and cargo operations, including baggage and mail loading, unloading, sorting, cargo acceptance, manifesting, and clearance. Prepares load sheets, weight and balance calculations, loading instructions, dangerous-goods documentation, and flight paperwork. Conducts aircraft marshalling, chocking, cone placement, cargo-door operation, tail-prop handling, FOD removal, and safety inspections. Reports incidents and ensures compliance with aviation, safety, security, and company requirements.

Leads enterprise IT portfolio planning, prioritization, governance, reporting, financial oversight, risk and dependency management, resource planning, benefits tracking, and project closure. Provides executive decision support, challenges portfolio data quality, coordinates governance forums, escalates delivery concerns, and manages PMO or portfolio team members. Requires strong IT portfolio, program management, analytical, financial, stakeholder management, and governance capabilities.

Manages the IT portfolio register, project intake, reporting, governance tracking, financial and resource monitoring, risks, milestones, dependencies, and closure activities. Maintains accurate portfolio data, dashboards, documentation, and management reports while following up on incomplete or overdue information. Coordinates reviews, supports budgeting and governance readiness, identifies trends and exceptions, and escalates material risks. Provides reporting guidance to project teams and supports process improvements across Technology initiatives.

Leads IT administration operations, including departmental support, budget and expenditure tracking, procurement and vendor coordination, contract and renewal registers, training administration, management reporting, audit support, and records control. Manages the IT Administration team, allocates workloads, improves administrative processes, and coordinates with Finance, Procurement, HR, Legal, vendors, and Technology stakeholders. Ensures accurate documentation, timely follow-up, compliance with controls, and reliable service delivery.

Leads IT governance and compliance oversight, including policy lifecycle management, compliance monitoring, audit coordination, risk and control assessments, project and change governance, exception management, remediation tracking, and executive reporting. The role challenges unsupported compliance claims, escalates material risks, maintains governance and evidence registers, coordinates assurance activities, and guides Technology teams toward stronger, auditable controls. It also manages assigned team members and supports continuous improvement across a regulated airline technology environment.

Architects, administers, monitors, and optimizes hybrid network, server, and cloud infrastructure. Manages AWS and Azure environments, Windows and Linux servers, virtual machines, networking equipment, storage, backups, patching, incident resolution, and disaster recovery activities. Drives cloud and network cost optimization through resource right-sizing, utilization monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost-variance reporting while supporting infrastructure uptime, pipeline performance, and L2/L3 troubleshooting.

Supports airline commercial applications including passenger service, revenue management, CRM, distribution, and sales systems. Responsibilities include application monitoring, incident investigation, requirements gathering, testing, change implementation, vendor coordination, documentation, governance, and continuous improvement. The senior role handles complex issues, supports stakeholder discussions, guides junior colleagues, and contributes to system ownership.
