Provides executive leadership for curriculum, instruction, assessment, student services, special education, multilingual learner programs, professional development, and community initiatives across a K-12 charter district. Advises the Superintendent and Board, supervises academic leaders, manages budgets and accountability systems, oversees charter compliance and renewal, drives strategic planning and continuous improvement, and monitors student achievement and equitable outcomes.

Leads district-wide special education and student services, ensuring IDEA and Section 504 compliance, overseeing IEPs and 504 plans, supervising specialized staff, managing budgets, coordinating families and agencies, and directing inclusive student support programs. The role also oversees SEL, MTSS, PBIS, crisis intervention, attendance, discipline, foster youth and unhoused family supports, professional development, staffing, data reporting, and district initiatives.

Coordinates districtwide special education and student support services, including IEP and 504 compliance, meeting schedules, documentation review, related-service delivery, data analysis, professional learning, inclusive practices, and wraparound supports. Partners with school leaders, educators, families, service providers, SELPA, agencies, and community organizations to ensure timely, equitable services. Supports compliance reviews, audits, student interventions, staff training, and implementation of MTSS, PBIS, SEL, and other student-support systems while maintaining confidential records.

Support organizational compliance, benefits administration, personnel contract management, HRIS data accuracy, and reporting. Track MOUs, charter renewals, compliance obligations, process personnel transactions, administer open enrollment and leave documentation, liaise with vendors, and prepare submissions for leadership and external agencies to ensure regulatory and policy adherence.

Lead and manage the high school (grades 9-12) academic program, daily operations, staff supervision, budget and compliance. Oversee curriculum, instructional coaching, charter/board relations, student safety, community engagement, and school improvement initiatives.
