Lead strategy and execution for Current AI's global program portfolio, overseeing grantmaking, product-building, and partnerships. Build and manage a small Programs team, define theories of change and MEL frameworks, convene funders and governments, and ensure delivery of auditable, outcome-based public-interest AI initiatives.

Senior executive (reporting to CEO) designing and operating Current AI's global operating model. Build and lead a ~10-person senior operations team and broader staff; oversee finance, legal, HR, procurement, compliance, governance, and fundraising operations. Ensure financial stewardship of $400M+, audit readiness, multi-jurisdictional compliance, and donor reporting. Drive scalable, lightweight processes enabling rapid decision-making while partnering closely with CEO, Board, governments, foundations, and external partners.

Lead and build Current AI's communications function and brand, craft the movement narrative, manage media relations and agency partners, produce high‑impact content across channels, support fundraising and partner communications, and measure reach and sentiment to advance public-interest AI.

Manage invoices, payments and reconciliations; support monthly accounting, budgeting, and annual audit; prepare funder reporting; manage contracts, vendors, and compliance; maintain tools, automated workflows, and access; support grantee due diligence and cross-team operations.

Lead growth and stewardship of Current AIs open-source communities: engage contributors across GitHub, Discord, and other channels; moderate and evolve community guidelines; bridge contributors and internal teams; run outreach, recognition, and contributor-growth programs; track community health metrics and support budgeting and operations for community initiatives.
