The Calibration Specialist will calibrate and repair mechanical measuring and test equipment at NASA's Kennedy Space Center while ensuring measurement accuracy and precision.

Perform calibration, adjustment, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, dimensional, and test measurement equipment at NASA KSC. Follow documented procedures, develop/validate methods and uncertainty budgets, maintain records using PC-based systems, adhere to safety standards, and occasionally work at customer sites. Provide recommendations to improve processes and assist in training.

Manage daily calibration and metrology lab operations for TMDE at Kennedy Space Center. Oversee staff, ensure ISO/IEC 17025 and AS9100 compliance, control budgets and standards, improve processes, and serve as primary technical contact for NASA contract deliverables and customer satisfaction.

The Metrologist will calibrate and maintain precision measuring equipment, provide engineering support, and develop calibration procedures in a metrology lab.
