Architect and deploy multimodal 2D/3D object detection systems using camera, LiDAR, and radar. Build data collection, evaluation, and proprietary dataset pipelines; train, monitor, and improve production perception models; develop the perception roadmap; and mentor junior engineers. The role requires end-to-end perception stack experience, cross-functional leadership, Python proficiency, and advanced education in computer science, robotics, or deep learning.

Design and build production-grade mission, behavior, and motion planning systems for autonomous ground-support vehicles in airport environments. Own and operate AeroVect’s on-premises infrastructure at garage facilities supporting autonomous vehicle operations. Responsibilities include managing servers and networking equipment, delivering software to autonomous tractors and embedded devices, building C++ and Python data-processing systems, maintaining telemetry and image ingestion pipelines, supporting operator-facing tools, monitoring system reliability, and automating deployment and operational workflows with Python and Bash.

Owns ambiguous operational projects from definition through completion, including site openings, physical infrastructure, equipment procurement, vendor management, process design, tool implementation, and cross-functional rollouts. The role coordinates Operations, Engineering, Safety, IT, Finance, People, vendors, property managers, airports, and airlines. It requires strong judgment, writing, commercial analysis, commitment tracking, and onsite work in Atlanta.

Own and productionize localization, mapping, calibration, and state-estimation systems for autonomous ground vehicles operating at active airports. Responsibilities include sensor fusion, 3D mapping, calibration, online validation, diagnostics, regression testing, deployment, and safety monitoring. The role provides technical leadership across perception, planning, and platform teams while advancing autonomous operations toward driverless capability.

Own day-to-day finance operations across US and Canadian entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, reconciliations, budget-versus-actual tracking, cash forecasting, board and investor reporting, tax administration, expense workflows, and month-end close coordination. The role also automates finance processes using AI tools and scripting while partnering with founders, budget owners, and external accountants.

Own end-to-end delivery of AeroVect’s flagship Atlanta Airport autonomous vehicle program from planning through launch and steady-state operations. Drive schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, governance, stakeholder alignment, and launch readiness across Engineering, Systems, Safety, and Operations. Serve as the primary liaison between engineering and operations leadership, while helping establish TPM processes, tooling, templates, and cross-program standards.

Performs software and system safety analyses for autonomous vehicle platforms, including HARA, FMEA, FTA, STPA, freedom-from-interference, and code-level hazard evaluations. Derives and traces safety requirements, defines fail-safe mechanisms, reviews safety-critical C++ and Python code, supports safety-case development, and collaborates with robotics, hardware, systems, software, and test teams to verify compliance and enable airport deployment.
