Collects and follows up on patient account balances, verifies insurance eligibility, processes electronic billing (charges, payments, denials, adjustments), resolves insurance denials, and supports CHWs with Medicaid-related billing. Ensures accurate coding (ICD-9/10, CPT) and meets clinic financial and reporting goals while adhering to exposure-control and patient-respect policies.

Collects and verifies patient and insurance information, enters data into the EHR, confirms coverage and pre-authorizations, communicates costs to patients, coordinates with billing and clinical teams, researches balances, and ensures charts and treatment plans align with coverage.

Perform cash management and deposit reconciliation across clinics, reconcile general ledger accounts, support accounts payable, manage SMHW invoicing and VFC inventory tracking, prepare month-end reconciliations and journal entries, set up vendors, and provide accounting support to the Finance team while collaborating with clinic staff to resolve discrepancies.
