Builds custom wooden crates and packaging for marine products shipped domestically and internationally. Responsibilities include following product specifications, packaging components, meeting carrier and international shipping standards, tracking lumber packages, completing documentation, coordinating with shipping and production teams, and maintaining a safe, organized work area. Success requires precise workmanship, attention to detail, reliability, and meeting shipment deadlines.

Coordinates shipping and receiving, customer and carrier shipments, incoming inspections, purchasing, inventory, packaging, packing slips, shipping logs, and quality records. Maintains shop-supply inventory and assists with preventive-maintenance documentation while following company procedures and quality-management requirements.

Leads complex, long-term marine fabrication projects from planning through closeout. Coordinates customers, internal teams, and subcontractors while managing schedules, budgets, quality, change orders, risks, documentation, and project communications. The role develops mitigation strategies, monitors progress, presents forecasts and status updates, and ensures cost, schedule, and quality objectives are achieved.
