Responsibilities include polyamide synthesis, material characterization, polymer processing, scale-up, process optimization, troubleshooting, and commercialization of new products. The role applies AI, machine learning, statistical modeling, and Design of Experiments to accelerate research and improve manufacturing performance. It also provides technical leadership, mentors scientists and engineers, collaborates cross-functionally, and contributes to intellectual property development.

The Electrical Reliability Engineer leads electrical reliability and maintenance programs at a chemical manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, failure analysis, reliability control plans, capital project support, Management of Change oversight, spare-parts recommendations, and technical guidance for technicians and contractors. The role also leads RCFA and FMEA activities, supports safety and process-safety compliance, and improves electrical equipment reliability using data analysis and Lean principles.

Leads automation and process control engineering for a chemical manufacturing facility. Designs and configures DCS systems, HMI graphics, advanced control applications, alarms, interlocks, and network integrations. Troubleshoots process control issues, supports capital projects, maintains technical standards, optimizes plant control systems, trains engineering personnel, and provides rotating off-hours support.

Manage customer orders and order-to-cash processes, including order entry, pricing, delivery scheduling, invoicing support, and issue resolution. Partner with supply chain, commercial, and account management teams to improve customer satisfaction, identify upselling opportunities, support digital commerce, and implement process improvements. Leads Process Safety Management programs at a chemical manufacturing facility, including PHAs, LOPAs, risk assessments, incident investigations, MOCs, regulatory compliance, mechanical integrity, safeguard verification, and continuous improvement. Partners with operations, maintenance, engineering, environmental, and safety teams while mentoring personnel and strengthening process safety culture.

Manages capital projects from concept through closure, including scope development, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, budgeting, safety, quality, and project controls. Oversees multiple investments totaling $3 million to $15 million annually, coordinates plant and contractor resources, ensures regulatory and code compliance, manages capital expenditures, supports strategic planning, and mentors project engineers. Provides engineering support to chemical manufacturing operations and promotes safe, compliant project execution.

Manages financial planning, analysis, cost accounting, forecasting, reporting, budgeting, inventory valuation, and month-end close for a manufacturing plant. Partners with operations, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, and corporate finance leaders to improve cost competitiveness and operational performance. Supports capital projects, audits, SOX controls, U.S. GAAP compliance, and business decision-making through financial insights.
