Lead technical engineering for design-build and build-to-print projects: define requirements, create engineering plans, manage design teams and interfaces, produce drawings/BOMs/procurement, oversee fabrication, testing, and quality documentation under NQA-1, and mentor junior staff.

Lead strategic planning, execution, and monitoring of custom engineering and complex fabrication programs. Oversee scopes, budgets ($3M–$30M+), teams of project managers/coordinators, risk and change management, customer relationships, process improvements, and program-level reporting to ensure schedule, quality, and budget objectives.

Operate and program CNC and manual machines (Haas, Tiger Cut, Mori Seiki), perform setups, inspect parts to print tolerances using measuring tools, follow SOPs, complete paperwork, maintain safe/organized shop, and troubleshoot machine issues, reporting to the Lead Machinist.

Manages technical design/build and build-to-print projects from planning through closeout, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Develops project plans, staffing, risk mitigation, and reports on budget, schedule and quality. Coordinates cross-functional teams, manages customer expectations, and supports government- and regulated-program requirements.

Drive revenue by partnering with customers to develop manufacturable equipment designs. Create/interpret 3D/2D models, drawings, P&IDs, and estimates. Lead capture for RFQs/RFPs, support proposal development, present to management, and maintain customer/vendor relationships. Travel up to 50% and become product expert to translate requirements into engineered solutions.

Coordinate and track shop-floor execution of engineer-to-order fabrication projects. Maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, ERP data, and documentation. Coordinate with project managers, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, and engineering; verify kits and work orders, identify risks, support process improvement (5S, Kaizen), and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Manage small-to-medium complex technical projects from planning through close-out, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Develop project plans, staff resources, track budget/schedule/quality metrics, perform risk analysis, communicate status to customers and stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and quality.
